Beaux-Arts Inspired Wedding Afternoon Styled Shoot By Save The Date Weddings

Beaux-Arts Inspired Wedding Afternoon Styled Shoot

In our latest styled shoot, the images captured combine two of our greatest passions – weddings and décor! Styled by wedding designers and planners Save the Date, this exquisite shoot, which features beautiful images captured by our vendors Enchanté Studios, took place at the sumptuous St. Regis in Dubai. The shoot saw lots of our favourite wedding industry professionals collaborating, including BCME vendors Vanila Wedding Boutique, MHG Beauty and Firenze Flora.

Featuring the grand architecture of the hotel, the shoot conveys elegance by using off white tones, and incorporates the hotel’s golden accents by using similar shades, as well as green, to brighten and form a contrast with the white. It also involves a bath tub that is simply to die for! Candles add a sense of romance, whilst Olga from Save the Date further demonstrates her talent by featuring an exquisite vase that she hand painted herself.

Read more about this lavish shoot below, and be sure to watch the beautiful video that accompanies the images. Enjoy!

A Note from the Wedding Designer

We recently had the honour of both shooting and styling the wedding brochure for the opulent St. Regis Dubai. Every single element of the interior of this hotel is so chic and refined, that you can easily stare at each detail for hours. Our colour palette was rather basic and settled; we mixed grey and off-white with accents of gold and green. I have to admit, my recent passion for grey and gold combinations influenced all further decisions. We matched tall and short centerpieces, combining a few types of blooms with areca palm leaves to create a bold yet elegant look. A myriad of taper candles were placed in different sized holders and scattered around the table.

The bride wore two different outfits; a classic ball gown for the ball room and stair case images, and a crystal beaded mermaid dress when we were capturing images at the Royal Suite.

We aimed to showcase a story through fine art photography, hence the focus on the details and interior outlooks.

I have to mention the brilliant job by Reesha from Pret-A-Papier, who created an absolutely wonderful wedding stationery set with a twist after our prior discussions. You might notice that there is a wall paper ornament being incorporated in the graphics. Another detail that I’d like to mention is the white and blue chinoiserie vase with a bunch of hydrangeas, used as a part of the Royal Suite décor. I hand painted it specially for this photo shoot, which took me almost two days. However, the result was worth it!
