Get to Know the Wedding Pro: Itsoura Motions And Stills
Each week, we shine the spotlight on Bride Club ME vendor club members, allowing you, our reader, to get up close and personal with some of the best wedding vendors in town. Here, you can learn more about the people behind some of the businesses you may be using to make your wedding day perfect!
This week we have the privilege of showcasing Josephus Taboada, Jr., Managing Director of Itsoura Motions and Stills. Below, Josephus provides us with an exclusive insight into the company, tells us all about why he works in this industry and shares with us what he loves the most about his job.
How long has Itsoura Motions and Stills been established, and what makes your company different to other photographers and videographers in the region?
Itsoura Motions and Stills has been established for three years. We are one of the few photographers who combine and capture both the emotional and the artistic elements of a wedding.
What made you decide to work in the wedding industry?
Weddings are the only photography category where you actually impact a lot of peoples’ personal lives. They are very special, milestone occasions during which memories are made that will stay with the couple, their friends and their families forever. This gives us a deeper purpose.
What do you love most about your job?
We love the diversity and the range of photographic skills required when capturing a wedding. They enable us to be storytellers, product photographers (through the wedding details), landscape photographers, and so many other aspects. It’s very challenging and we always learn something new.
Do you have any exciting wedding projects happening soon? What are you most looking forward to in the near future?
We are currently working on expanding the Itsoura brand. We cannot say much now, but we are very excited for the future, as there will be a lot happening for us!
Describe the experience a bride-to-be will have when hiring Itsoura Motions and Stills for her wedding…
We believe that it is important for us to have chemistry with our clients. We try and build a rapport with them before their wedding day; this is one of the reasons why we think pre-wedding shoots are important. It’s kind of like a rehearsal. Couples hiring Itsoura can expect to be in good hands.
How do you manage trust from your clients? After all, it is the most important day of their lives…
We make our clients feel comfortable and important whilst showing them that we are fully committed to making this special day as memorable as it can be for them.
If you could give one piece of advice to our readers (brides-to-be) what would it be?
Remember that the only thing that will last with you after the wedding day is over are your memories. Make sure you know what you want, take the time to choose your photographer and videographer and make sure you have chemistry with them. You will be with your photography and videography team for the whole day, and they will greatly impact your experience and the memories that will be left with you. Invest in these memories, these are timeless.
What budgets do you cater for?
We are definitely not the cheapest. We would say that we are mid-range to high end. After all, if you spend a lot of money on your shoes and wedding dress, you should definitely invest in your photographs and video. At the end of the day, these will be the only things from your wedding that will quite literally last a lifetime.
Lastly, why did you choose to list with www.brideclubme.com?
Bride Club’s brand identity resonates with us and we feel that we are well represented as we speak the same language and understand each other.
