BCME Diary Of A Real Bride – Dana Hajjaj – Engaged & Confused
Last month we introduced you to our brand new BCME Diary Of Real Bride Contributor, Dana Hajjaj. Each month, Dana will be giving you, our readers, access all areas into her personal journey of planning her dream wedding, and all the ups and downs that go with it!
Dana is getting married in July 2020, (location TBC – we can’t wait to find out where!) so each month she’ll be keeping us up to date on all her exciting wedding developments via her BCME Diary Of A Real Bride features. Along the way, Dana will also share her experiences and top tips for other brides to be, which we hope will ease some of the stress, and answer some of the questions you may be facing in the lead up to your own big day.
Last month, Dana shared with us the romantic proposal from her now fiancé, Hassan. This month, Dana’s back to give us an update on her engagement and wedding planning journey so far.
Over to you, Dana!
Being engaged doesn’t come with a user’s manual. It’s so easy to get sucked into a labyrinth of frustration after spending 3 hours scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram. I thought I knew what I wanted, but with so many options in the market and ideas in my head, it’s got a bit overwhelming, a bit too fast!
Luckily enough, Bride Club ME has come to my rescue with their brilliant ‘Concierge Service‘. You’d think this service costs money, as the name might imply, but it doesn’t! This service is completely free of charge and is operated through WhatsApp and over the phone in person, making it really time efficient, allowing you to save face-to-face meetings for vendors and planners, etc.
Before getting into the details, here’s why I love the service. First of all, it’s smooth. Your information will not be distributed across all of the BCME vendors in the UAE, but rather matched with whomever team Bride Club think fits you best. You can contact them anytime, any day, should you have any concerns or queries; think of it like a consultancy, match-making service. Best of all, all BCME readers can avail lovely discounts to help shake that price tag in order to create your fairytale-like wedding, should you choose to go ahead with a BCME vendor.
So, what happens throughout this service you may ask? Here’s my breakdown:
♡ Specifics Matter ♡
The first step of the concierge service is identifying what your wedding is like; size, emirate, estimated budget, potential dates, theme, flow etc. Identifying all these aspects (especially your budget) makes it easier for BCME to match you with the right suppliers, and avoids wasting your time. Even if you don’t have all the details finalized, giving an approximate number and an initial brief, will still be sufficient. It will then take a day or two, depending on the budget you have allocated, for BCME to go through their resources and get back to you.
♡ Your ‘Happily Ever After’ Starts With The Venue ♡
A list with shortlisted links to venues will be sent to your email. This email will include many details about the properties and links to view some of their pictures galleries online. Upon choosing numerous locations you’d like to consider for a site visit, a BCME personnel will introduce you to the Events Coordinator at the property to schedule your visit.
♡ Plan My Fairytale ♡
Recommendations on certain wedding planners will be presented to you to research, alongside a link that has all the wedding planners that are listed as BCME vendors. After selecting any planner or planner(s) that may catch your eye, a hassle-free formal introduction will be made to so you can move forward as you wish.
The BCME recommendations are exquisite. Every person I have met, or have spoken to, has been nothing but generous, hospitable, creative and elegant. It really is a luxe service. The more I get into the details of the wedding, the more of the concierge service I get to unravel.
Your 2020 Bride,
