We played lots of games at the pre-party, took polaroid pictures, had KFC (my favorite) and a scrumptious cake, danced around and laughed till our belly ached. I honestly can’t imagine having had the party anywhere else.
After Party: – Balcon Lounge
While my wedding may be a few months away, I wanted to have my bachelorette so early so that I can get to swim before we enter the winter months. I had packed the most gorgeous swimming suit and veil (curtsey of Caprice D’un Jour), but since we were suited at the 39th floor it got too windy and a bit cold on both Friday and Saturday, our private pool water a little cold to take a long dip in (something was bound to go wrong, right?). We ended up going down to use the hotel’s pool on the 5th floor, it was so much warmer but not as fun as I would’ve hoped but still managed to make the best of the situation.
I didn’t want a specific theme, but I did want a pink aesthetic, so I asked all my girls to dress in pink and had most of the decoration, if not all, in rose gold. It wasn’t tricky to find decorations online, but since I’m an event planner at heart, I did my due diligence (thanks Amazon!) and even brought a few stuff from home along to decorate.
