My wife and I had our perfect wedding at folly, the location, position and views are to die for! From the beginning, planning what we wanted the layout to be, the menu choices and the team liaising with external elements (florist, music, DJ) nothing was too much and we were made to feel far more relaxed than we thought we would. On the day it all went perfectly from guests arriving to the ceremony and then the food which was sublime! The service all day was exceptional and we continued late into the night. When we started to think about potential wedding party venues in Dubai, I had two main criteria - an al fresco setting, ideally rooftop; and an independent licensed restaurant known for its excellent food, rather than a hotel with a conference and banqueting team serving mediocre fare. As a regular at Folly since its opening, I knew it ticked both these boxes and the team exceeded our expectations. The beauty of this venue is the multiple levels that could accommodate different aspects of our party of 65 guests. Champagne sundowners on the rooftop terrace; followed by dinner in the restaurant/ terrace; and dancing until the early hours on the garden terrace. Right from the outset, the chefs and front-of-house team went out of their way to accommodate our wish list from Champagne with oysters, and the simple yet striking table decor, to a four course meal served seamlessly, right through to a cheese tier as our wedding cake. Having already had our wedding ceremony back home in Cyprus, I wasn’t that fussed about a party (knowing I would end up organising it!), but my husband convinced me and I am so glad we did. Scott, Nick and the whole team made the organisation hassle-free and our evening magical. I would recommend Folly as a wedding venue in a heartbeat :)
