Each week, we shine the spotlight on Bride Club ME vendor club members, allowing you, our reader, to get up close and personal with some of the best wedding vendors in town. Here, you can learn more about the people behind some of the businesses you may be using to make your wedding day perfect!
This week we have the privilege of showcasing Anna Frem, founder of Just Amore. Anna is based mainly in Dubai and plans weddings for couples who wish to have a destination wedding in beautiful Italy. Whether you and your fiancé imagine your dream wedding amongst the vineyards of Tuscany or along the gorgeous Amalfi Coast, Just Amore has plenty of inspiration and advice to help make your vision a reality.
Below, Anna tells us all about her company and how they can help couples to have a stress-free destination wedding, as well as revealing why she decided to create Just Amore in the first place. Enjoy!
How long has Just Amore been established and what makes you different when it comes to planning weddings?
Just Amore was established back in 2011. It all started when I had to organise both my daughter-in-laws’ weddings in Italy. Each one of them came from different countries – one from Russia and one from Brazil – so It was quite a challenge to plan their wedding in Italy and at the same time respect their customs and beliefs.
However, this was definitely when my passion was born. I realised that I would love to help people get married in Italy, a country that offers so much in terms of romantic places, good weather, and nice food.
Being Italian myself gives me the opportunity to guide my brides through all of the potential difficulties they could face when planning a destination wedding, either because of a language barrier or in finding the perfect location and vendors to meet their specific requests, while respecting their budget.
What made you decide to work in the wedding industry?
While I was looking for wedding planners for my son’s wedding I came to realise that there was a lack of real professionals in this field. Either there was a language barrier or a total misunderstanding of the client’s requests, background, and customs. I would find myself sometimes doing most of the job. So, I decided that along with my passion for organising events (particularly weddings), my creativity and my love for Italy, which has so many beautiful locations that I would like to promote, I would be successful in this field that fascinates me. I applied for a certificate in wedding planning to complete my skills and now here I am…
What do you love most about your job?
That first contact with the bride and groom, when I ask them how they envision their marriage and I see so much enthusiasm in their eyes. My main goal is to help them achieve this vision and make their dream come true on their special day.
My biggest reward is when everything is over, to receive some words of gratitude from the couple thanking me for making their special day perfect just like they had imagined it, only even better.
What makes Italy such a great place for a destination wedding?
Nearly everything! Italy is one of the most romantic places in the world and the scenery is absolutely spectacular. You can choose from medieval castles to magnificent vineyards to beautiful backdrops by the sea. The climate is mild, the food delicious and the people so friendly.
Tell us about some of the regions where brides may like to hold their wedding…
The favorites would still be Rome, which is extraordinarily magical; Tuscany, and the surrounding of Florence. The Amalfi coast is also very popular. And let’s not forget Venice and Sicily…there’s so much to choose from!
Describe the experience a bride-to-be will have when hiring Just Amore for her wedding…
I believe each bride is unique and I always take this into consideration. This is why I am not a fan of ‘package weddings’. We will work with the bride from day one on all details from A to Z, offering her ideas and concepts based on her vision of one of the most important days in her life. We will be there every step of the way to guide her and ease all the stress from her. We are flexible and believe in personal, customised service. Our bride will never feel she is just another ‘number’ but she will feel special and well taken care of.
How do you manage trust from your clients? After all, it is their most important day of their lives…
I believe in my company and in the network I have come to build with the most reputable vendors in Italy. My presence in Dubai for most of the year is obviously an asset. Physically, brides can see me, and this communication is essential in planning a destination wedding. Once all the planning stages are defined I usually accompany them to Italy to show them locations and meet the vendors I propose. If I can’t go myself, I have my entrusted local team based there who can offer them all the support they need.
If you could give one piece of advice to our readers (brides-to-be) what would it be?
Never let a wedding designer impose their way of working and vision on your big day. Make sure they understand what you want and let them know from the beginning the budget you wish to work with, or you may find yourself quickly overwhelmed and spending much more than you need. Always ask for more than one vendor in order to compare quality and prices. A good wedding planner should always be able to give you choices.
What budgets do you cater for?
We prefer to work with medium to high budgets, but we don’t exclude small budgets. It all depends on the requests and we try to accommodate the best service and quality for the amount of money available.
Lastly, why did you choose to list with www.brideclub.me?
I found it to be the most reliable, qualified and professional portal for our kind of industry in the region. I wish them a continued success and I hope to be part of their vendor community for a long time.
