Planned and designed by Arabesqué Weddings, the multi-day wedding celebrations of Marzia and Abdulla unfolded from 24–29 September 2025 across four visually and emotionally striking events in the UAE. From powerful palettes to culture-woven performances and intimate bridal moments, this wedding week delivered a fresh reminder that your celebration should tell your story, not echo someone else’s.
Event 1: Bridal Shower
Date: 24 September 2025
Venue: Le Guépard, Alserkal Avenue
Born from Marzia’s vision of an unapologetic Mob Wife dinner shared only with her closest girls, the bridal shower embraced deep-crimson luxury and quiet feminine power. Blood-red roses spilled dramatically across the table, velvet textures added depth, and candle flames flickered softly, casting an unmistakable late-night glow.
Pearls were threaded through the tablescape for old-world glamour, while the leopard emblem, her signature detail, anchored the look with attitude and edge. The result was bold, intimate, elegant, and fiercely personal, exactly as the bride imagined it.
Event 2: Henna & Qawali Performance
Date: 25 September 2025
Venue: Arjaan Skylight by Rotana
Arabesqué Weddings created this event as a living tapestry of South Asian soul and authentic Emirati heritage, celebrating cultural unity over predictable styling. Under the stunning glass skylight, the décor embraced a bazaar-inspired, sensory-rich world with spices, dried limes, earthy vegetables, copper tones, and woven textures forming an atmosphere that felt warm, intriguing, and refreshingly different.
The celebration opened girls-only, full of dance, laughter, and henna artistry, before transitioning at sunset into a mixed gathering, inviting family into the warmth. IndoFuzon, traditional Qawali performers, carried the evening with soulful vocals, reverence, and timeless melodies, a beautiful sonic fusion of Arabic themes meeting South Asian artistry.
Event 3: Rehearsal Dinner
Date: 27 September 2025
Venue: Al Seef Heritage Hotel
Set within the charming, heritage corridors of Al Seef, the rehearsal dinner brought together a cherished mix of international friends and family, all travelling from across the globe for the final chapter before the reception.
With a gentle theme of “endings”, the dinner was curated as a sensory love letter to Arabic hospitality, balancing silky, sweet, tangy, buttery, and timeless flavours. Traditional Arabic dishes sat proudly at the heart of the menu, introducing Emirati culture through authentic taste and refined presentation.
The Grazing Society elevated the evening with a beautifully curated charcuterie cart, adding finesse and thoughtful nods to the couple’s favourite indulgences. Warm, intentional, quietly elegant, just like them.
Event 4: Wedding Reception
Date: 29 September 2025
Venue: Mandarin Ballroom, Mandarin Oriental Dubai
The grand finale, conceptualised by Arabesqué Weddings, unfolded inside the Mandarin Ballroom, transformed into a regal and timeless reception space. The styling anchored itself in rich traditional greens, balanced with refined neutrals and subtle metallic accents for a design that felt both classic and striking.
The aisle stretched the full length of the ballroom, holding space for anticipation before the bride’s entrance delivered a moment that was breathtaking, cinematic, and unforgettable.
A custom-built stage and sculpted arches rose in sweeping curves that felt architectural yet soft, powerful yet graceful. Sensory touchpoints like finjan customisation stations and the aroma of freshly poured Arabic coffee were woven throughout the reception, grounding the evening in heritage and heart.
A celebration where emotion met elevation, spectacle met sincerity, and tradition met identity.
