10 Autumnal Wedding Bouquets To Inspire

It’s hard to imagine that Autumn is only a couple of months away as we grin and bear the sweltering Dubai Summer heat, but cooler climates and fall tones really are just around the corner!
Did you know the wedding bouquet dates back to Ancient Greek and Roman times? The very first bridal bouquets were reportedly made of garlands or flowers. They symbolized fertility, the beginning of a union built on trust and fidelity and celebrated the couple’s new life together. Whereas in the Victorian era, bouquets were carefully selected to send secret messages between the Bride and Groom. Floriography, the association of certain flowers and plants with symbolic meanings, became wildly popular, so much so that entire books were dedicated to explaining the meanings of the most obscure blooms. We find this concept rather beautiful and very romantic!
So for all you Brides to be out there currently planning your dream fall wedding, we hope this round up of Autumnal Wedding Bouquets inspires and delights you! From jewel tones to wild flower arrangements, feathers, greenery, velvet ribbons to dreamy bohemian bouquets, this BCME round up has us dreaming of Autumn!
One of our personal favourite bouquets is image 3 from BCME Vendor Le Marché Des Fleurs. We’d love to know your favourite so let us know by commenting at the end of this feature in the ‘comments box’ below.
