A Bold & Fun Dubai Wedding

Today at BCME, we are overjoyed to feature a stunning wedding at one of our favourite venues – the beautiful Desert Palm. Expertly captured by our vendors Itsoura Motions & Stills, the images convey a fun wedding with lots of humour, not to mention an absolute vision of a bride!

Featuring bold shades of green, we love how the flower girl is carrying a box that reads ‘appily ever after’, and also the tongue in cheek signs on the back of the bride and groom’s chairs.

Youmna and Alberto clearly have poetry in their hearts and a mysterious, romantic story behind their meeting and eventual marriage. The couple describe Youmna as “a run-away bride with a bubbly character, bigger than life,” and Alberto as “a confirmed bachelor, full stop.” The moment they met was “a magical night, when their planets decided to turn out of their orbits and derange the course of their lives. He fell under the spell of her beauty and irresistible charm.” Alberto proposed “somewhere between the ocean and the skies. She said yes. And the rest is the future…”

He wheeled her in. Literally. On a wheelbarrow. Such was the atmosphere that surrounded their wedding. From the preparations in both the groom’s home where the whole family gathered, to the excited chatter and laughter in the bride’s residence, up until the church ceremony at St. Francis’, followed by their Desert Palm wedding reception, the whole affair was light-hearted, fun, unique, creative, crazy and just a beautiful, awesome wedding. The groom was just like a knight in shining armour as he helped the bride with her ‘bridal walk’. The bride was incredibly radiant and beautiful as she walked down the aisle to meet her soulmate. Alberto is an amazing man, and Youmna an amazing woman. Together, they bring out the best in each other. It was such a pleasure and an honour to document their love.
