A Holi War ‘Save The Date’ Shoot In Dubai
We love a bit of colour and we love showcasing weddings and engagements shoots across a diverse range of cultures and ethnicities. Today, we bring you a bright and cheerful ‘Save The Date’ shoot, taken by the talented duo, Bhumi and Sheetal; Co-Founders of Candid Kama Photography.
This shoot is bursting with bright colours using holi powder, a tradition stemming from the Hindu religion, used during the Hindu Holi Festival (which, if you haven’t heard of, you must ‘Google’, looks like so much fun). Below, Bhumi and Sheetal talk us through the shoot and experience with the playful couple in love. Enjoy!
A Note From The Photographers
Zara and Munad got engaged in January, and asked us to design & capture a photo-shoot for them that was unique and quirky. Since the bride is from India and the groom is from Pakistan, they’re constantly at war over which cricket team to support! We decided to show this playfulness in their ‘Save the Date’ shoot, with a holy war using fun coloured powders. The shoot was fun and we absolutely LOVED papping this bright and colourful engagement/save the date shoot, for such an adorable couple. We wish them all the best in their marriage.
