An Engagement Shoot: Hatta Mountains

Set within the rocky mountains and cool crystal clear water pools of Hatta, today’s engagement shoot will take your breath away. Photographer Shyrell of Enchanté Studios, has captured this natural wonder at its best, and the couple aren’t too bad either! Below, Shyrell shares her experience of photographing Yasmin and Saeed, the gorgeous bride and groom-to-be. Enjoy!

Another amazing couple we got to work with recently are the lovely Yasmin and Saeed who were introduced to us through Instagram, thanks to Dana of The Purple Chair. When Yasmin shared with us her idea of props and wardrobe selections for their ‘Save-the-Date’ portraits, we had very few places in mind for where we wanted to do their session. With such a stunning backdrop comes a price, which meant an early two-hour drive out of Dubai and some fence crossing antics. But these two are such good sports and were happy to cross fences and stand on the edge of cliffs for us (oh yes, we made sure that everyone was safe)!

This is not the first time that we have been to this location, but every time we visit we feel just as excited! Depending on what time or season you go there, the lake changes its colours which then dictates the colour toning I do to an image. This time, I went completely rad with my toning and have fallen pleasantly in love with the images.

I’m very happy to have worked with Yasmin and Saeed and wish them both a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, I am sure it will be a very pretty day, just as the two of you are!
