On December 11^th, BCME and BCME Biz bid farewell to 2019 in spectacular fashion at their annual ‘festive’ wedding industry networking event, held in the award-winning restaurant, folly by Nick & Scott. This romantic venue, often used for intimate weddings and engagements, offered their pretty terrace overlooking the magical landscape and winding canals of the Madinat Jumeirah for wedding industry professionals to gather and network over bespoke festive cocktails, mocktails and delicious bites, created especially for them by the Folly catering team.

The self-titled ‘Jingle and Mingle’ took a ‘modern festive’ aesthetic, with a touch of ‘wedding’ and a (little more than a) dash of fabulous. Wedding and event planners La Table Events, who, along with our cake and dessert sponsor The Cake Loft, created the prettiest show-stopping decorative focal point, filled with Christmas trees, florals, faux-snow and twinkly lights, all set atop luscious linens from Party Social. The desserts were ‘to-die-for’ and we particularly fell in love with Cake Loft’s glittery Christmas Banana Cake.

LAVA Moments added their magic touch with cosy Christmas scented candles, along with 800 Flower’s floor candles, loose festive foliage and decorative table pieces for the perfect festive ambience. Christmas classics and timeless hits filled the air as our AV and entertainment partners, BOX Entertainment, got the crowd up, moving and merry on the dance floor.

Our special guest appearance from Princess Elsa (from Ever After Princesses) had us all star-struck, gracefully gliding across the terrace taking photos with guests courtesy of Goldfish Photography & Video. Elsa also used her magic to choose the lucky winners of our business card prize draw. Prizes won included beautiful candle sets from LAVA Moments, a public speaking course worth 3000AED from well-loved Dubai MC David Crane, a mini festive wreath courtesy of Quite Quaint as well as two 1-2-1 business consultancy sessions with www.brideclubme.com and Bride Club ME Business Founder, Rhiannon Downie-Hurst.
