Now entering the fifth year since our website went live, and beginning a new chapter with the year ahead, Bride Club ME reflects and looks back at our most popular and favourite features of 2016. From giving our readers the lowdown on our fourth-year anniversary networking event and following the wedding planning journey of our gorgeous real bride contributors Anna Lucas and Loren Penny, to featuring lots of diverse and beautiful reader weddings and styled shoots, below are just some of our highlights from this year. This recent event was a beautiful, celebratory occasion that brought together lots of incredible BCME vendors at the stunning Park Hyatt Hotel and Villas, Saadiyat Island. Our Founder’s Boho-Baby Shower – Décor Inspiration

This incredibly pretty baby shower featured a tablescape that left guests in awe, the cutest, most delicious of cakes and an adorable tipi, all in honour of the beautiful Rio’s baby boy, who is due to make an appearance in early 2017.  Click here to read the full feature.

A Rainy/Spontaneous Wedding Video In Dubai/ Just Happy Together Videography

We loved this video because it shows one of the key aspects of marriage: facing the unexpected together and just going with it. Heba and Faisal certainly didn’t let rain on their big day faze them, and the entire video, captured by Just Happy Together, really showcases both of their fun personalities and love for one another.  Click here to read the full feature.

Review: Honeymoon Romance At The Fairmont Montreux, Switzerland

The snow and epic mountain scenery in the beautiful images captured for this review makes us want to return to Montreux, especially at this time of year. Introducing Our New Real Brides Anna and Loren

2016 saw two new ‘real brides’ being introduced to BCME readers. Since March, we have followed Anna Lucas as she plans her 2017 wedding after getting engaged to Tom in South Africa. Then, in July, we met our second contributor, Loren Penney, who became engaged in April this year.
