Bridal Beauty Updates From A Real Dubai Bride
Our real bride Michelle Williams has had a busy summer. Being a teacher, she has had an extended break from work, but this does not necessarily mean that sitting around relaxing has been a priority; in fact, quite the opposite! From travelling and spending time with her family, to enjoying her Hen do and getting as much wedding prep done as possible, the summer has certainly been all ‘go go go’ for Michelle.
Read on to find out what Michelle has been up to this August, and to learn all about her bridal beauty plans. Enjoy!
So this month I’ve been busy after coming back from holidays and prepping for the new term at school. I’m thinking as soon as September comes it’ll all be go go go from then onwards. Studying, working and planning a wedding… the hard work really does start now and we’re more than past the half way mark. Not long to go – wish me luck!
This month I’ve managed to find my makeup artists, aesthetician and book an appointment with Cube by Candylicious to retrieve my fabulous prize!
Firstly, I’ll start with my amazing makeup artist; Jasmyne Franklin-Roberts. After witnessing some of Jasmyne’s work when called for a friends birthday, I had to ask for a trial. Jasmyne makes the face look flawless and her use of contour, shades, blending and colour on the eyes are to die for… subtle but oh so cute! Jasmyne’s makeup kit contains a whole array of goodies and with her talent, I’m sure to be one happy lady when the big day finally arrives!
Here she is…
Next, I found the most amazing aesthetician a bride could ever ask for! Eternel Clinic is amazing and their staff, customer service and offers are great too! Maryam Sajedi, the managing aesthetician at Eternel Clinic will be performing a concoction of facials, laser and other glorious beauty perks in the run up to the wedding. So far I’ve chosen facials but I will keep you up to date with the procedures and progress over the coming months.
The list of treatments I’m going to go for are:
Gold leaf facial
Vitamin C
Deep cleaning with extraction
Hydra facial
Spectra (laser treatment)
Maryam made me feel extremely comfortable when visiting her and showed that she really cares about her clients. I’ll also be using some after care skin products at home which I’ll give you updates on.
I will be popping by Cube by Candylicious in Dubai Mall this weekend to choose the delicious little sweet treats for our guests and will be sure to reveal the wedding favours we’ve chosen in my next post.
P.S I’m getting super stressed about finding a tailor for my wedding dress at the moment. I can’t seem to find a decent one anywhere! If anyone could recommend one or knows of a good place please comment below, your help would be highly appreciated!
Thanks for following me on my journey from Miss to Mrs, and I’ll see you the same time next month!
