A Green Sage Minimalistic Styled Shoot By The Day Weddings & Events

As the new UAE wedding season begins, the greenery trend is still proving to be popular. Another shift seems to be the use of more unusual spaces for wedding celebrations and engagement parties. Today’s styled shoot is no exception.

Skillfully put together by Rania of The Day Weddings & Events, this shoot took place at Ostro Café, a Mediterranean restaurant in Barsha Heights. Making the most of the surroundings, Rania curated a minimalistic vibe with plenty of green tones and an almost wild, woodland feel.

Ostro café is a new coffee shop/restaurant located in Dusit D2 Hotel in Barsha Heights that has a vintage Mediterranean style. This set up provided the inspiration for our ‘green sage’ photo shoot. Their mix and match plates, vintage accessories, and decorated walls all proved to be a focal point for the shoot.

The simple arrangement of leaves and branches give a minimalist vibe that matches the shoot perfectly, whilst the table runner and variety of vases give the shoot a real Mediterranean touch. The hint of white in the bridal bouquet adds some freshness to the palette. The different accessories and candles, which were brought by My List from Blanc d’Ivoire, were simply amazing.

Our lovely flawless vintage gown was offered from The Bridal Showroom from their new collection.

The cake features a new trend for the upcoming season (Brush Stroke) which was introduced by Cup N Cakes. Last but not least, the gorgeous invites covered with grape leaves and shades of green were printed by Design by Louma. We also used transparent table numbers with a wooden base.
