House Of Moirai Launches Wedding Gowns For The Modern Bride
For the past six years, the incredibly talented Barbaranne Heaton has been making bespoke dresses for fashion forward, untraditional brides with her label House of Moirai. Following the success of her custom gowns, Barbaranne has now launched her much anticipated new line of ready to wear bridal gowns.
Her new collection is perfect for the modern bride looking for a more unique take on the traditional wedding dress. “There are modern brides that want to have something a bit different,” Barbaranne says, and this is exactly what her new collection is delivering.
Earlier this month, BCME were invited to attend the launch event hosted by Barbaranne herself, and we completely fell in love with her collection. From hand beaded, dazzling gowns to dip-dyed skirts, silk trousers and a dress with a cape (yes please!), the collection truly set itself apart from anything else we have seen in the market. Our personal favourite was a gorgeous gown with a beaded top and a slit up the middle, which was so stunning it made us want to get married all over again! Another showstopper was the fabulous dip dye effect halter dress, which had us swooning for quite some time.
Having built the House of Moirai brand around bespoke gowns in 2012, Barbaranne’s new collection still comes with a semi-bespoke service which enables brides to customise a range of aspects to their taste, such as choosing a silhouette or adding a cape.
Addressing the brides, industry experts, influencers and the friends and family who had come to support her at the launch event, Barbaranne said, “We wanted to provide brides with an option of thinking outside the box. This is who we are, this is us as a label.”
We are so excited for Barbaranne and House of Moirai and cannot wait to see what she does next.
