What makes your resort different when it comes to hosting weddings?

The Address Montgomerie Dubai is a resort set in the heart of the prestigious Emirates Hills. The venue itself is simply stunning and offers an exquisite backdrop of Dubai’s skyscrapers. There is no other place like it!

We have an experienced lifestyle events team that has played host to many weddings over the years and has gained a great understanding of what couples need to make their wedding day one to remember.

Our defining feature is that we are a beautiful resort. We offer one exclusive event per day. If you are hosting your wedding with us, from the moment you walk into the hotel lobby, all our staff are expecting you and their attention is all yours.  

What made you decide to work in the events and hospitality industry?

After completing my degree, I always knew that a desk job in an office was not for me. I have worked in and experienced almost every department you will find in a hotel, except the kitchen. Working in hospitality gives me the opportunity to do what I love. Fundamentally, that is to interact with people. I have never looked back since my first experience of working with a client and planning their wedding. This is when I made the decision that I would forge my career in events.

What do you love most about your work?

I enjoy getting to know the bride and groom at the initial meeting and seeing them all the way through to the big day, and experiencing the results of all our hard work. It is such a joy to see their happiness and to stand back and think to yourself, “I made that happen.” It truly is amazing.

Do you have any excit­ing wedding events coming up at The Address Montgomerie Dubai?

We always have exciting events happening at The Address Montgomerie Dubai! It is great to work with a venue that is so adaptable. I love working on different events, whether it’s an intimate anniversary dinner for two or a wedding with 600 guests. I also love meeting a diverse mix of people, all with their own unique ideas.

How do you build up trust with your clients? After all, it is the most important day of their lives.

In my experience, it is important to develop a relationship with a bride and groom from the onset. From the very first meeting, we present them with all the information they need and most importantly give them the opportunity to describe their vision and how they see their special day coming together. We then set about working together to achieve this, ensuring close communication throughout the entire planning process so that any changes that arise can be accommodated.

If you could give one piece of wedding planning advice to our readers, what would it be?

The lifestyle events team is at your disposal to make your day a memorable and unforgettable one. We will support you throughout the planning process and on the day. Any special surprises that you are planning for your partner on the day will be managed and kept completely under wraps so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
