The festive season is here, and along with this, many people are getting married and planning lots of pre and post wedding events, I’m sure many of you are attending a few weddings too. Feeling comfortable in your own skin and wearing makeup that is right for YOU and your personality is key when getting glammed up for an evening out during the season. Below, I (Laure Sejean) share some of my tips and favourite makeup looks for the party season, that are diverse and suit most skin tones and personalities.
Tip
Before applying any makeup, make sure your skin is clean and prepped properly and always have fixing spray to hand to apply after makeup is applied, to ensure your party makeup will last the whole evening.
The Glam Chic Makeup look
This glam makeup look is attained by using the new Charlotte Tilbury palette, “Instant Look in a palette”. This is one of the best products that you can use in my opinion, because the palette is designed to help you create a pretty evening look in no-time.
This Charlotte Tilbury palette always look glamorous and flawless on most people, this is what I love most about Charlotte Tilbury products, they’re easy to use and glam at the same time.
The Trendy Makeup Look
It is always great to try something a little different, however, when trying a new look, you must always be careful not to mess things up. If you want to have that perfect eyeliner, I recommend a look that is currently trending in the makeup world…..the graphic eyeliner. Brands such as Mark Jacobs, with its new High liner, or Rimmel, with its Wonderswipe, are perfect for creating glitter lines so that you can use your creativity for the art of eye-lining. This might take you a little longer to apply (20 to 30 minutes), but once you nail it, you will be glad you gave it a go!
The Audacious Makeup Look
There are so many awesome makeup looks out there, and if you love a dark and sparkly eye, then this is the look for you. To attain this, I use the NARS holiday collection.
When using any type of sparkle or glitter on to the eyelids, it important to apply fixing spray to your brush before applying, this will also help the colour appear more vibrant. You will need at least 45 to 60 minutes to create this, but I can assure you that it will be surely worth it.
