SOLARIS is one such design, a breathtaking, large-scale wedding concept that blends minimalism, technology, and nature into a truly unforgettable experience.

A Vision Inspired by the Sun

Derived from the Latin word for sun, SOLARIS represents a powerful starting point for this design narrative. Created by MOD Events, the concept draws inspiration from the accelerating pace of technology and the visionary works of AI artists such as Marius Troy.

The result? A wedding design that feels both futuristic and timeless, where innovation meets emotion, and scale meets intimacy.

A Grand Yet Minimalist Setting

At the heart of SOLARIS lies a striking visual centrepiece: A vast circular dining table below, perfectly mirrored by a monumental circular installation above. Between these two forms sits a field of flowers, a symbolic meeting point of energies.

This powerful composition represents:

• Eternal union
• Harmony between two forces
• The balance of light and shadow

Much like the relationship between the sun and the moon, SOLARIS reflects two beings coming together to create something greater than themselves.

The Scale Behind the Spectacle

This was no ordinary wedding setup.

SOLARIS required:

• Over 800 hours from concept to execution
• A bespoke ceiling installation spanning a space for 700 guests
• Custom-designed furniture, including coffee tables, side tables, and chain-mesh curtains
• A fully immersive environment developed in Zabeel 6, Dubai

Every detail was meticulously considered, designed, and handcrafted to create a cohesive and elevated guest experience.

A Floral Landscape Like No Other

The softness of florals brought balance to the bold architectural design. Created by the talented team at Kadi Boutique, the floral installation featured an extraordinary:

• 950,000 blush roses

These blooms transformed the space into what felt like a field of wheat and roses, adding:

• Lightness
• Fragility
• Emotional warmth

This contrast between structure and softness created a necessary duality, one that grounded the futuristic design in human emotion.

The SOLA-AURA Colour Story

While the palette may appear subtle at first glance, it was anything but simple.

What began as a dusky tone evolved into a carefully curated shade that sits between:

• Dawn and dusk
• Light and shadow
• Strength and softness

This signature hue, named SOLA-AURA, is described as a rose flame, luminous, ever-shifting, and alive.

It represents the essence of SOLARIS: A delicate balance of opposing forces, working in harmony.

A Symbol of Human Connection

Fittingly, SOLARIS mirrors the sun itself, a symbol of energy, light, and collective strength.

At its core, this design is about more than aesthetics. It reflects the power of human connection and the ability to create beauty, even in complexity.

It is a reminder that even in the most technologically driven world, love remains the centre of it all.
