The Festive Season is over and a new year has started! But fear not! There is still plenty of opportunity for facing 2020 with your best beauty bounty, as I continue to keep you on the Glam Track. So, with Valentine’s Day just around the calendar corner, our bridal beauty expert Laure Sejean, has created a special tutorial for you! For that bright-eyed and ‘bushy-tailed’ look that young love inspires, I wanted to share my tips to create luminosity for both your skin and your eyes. Because this year’s beauty trend bids farewell to the bold red lip and hello to accentuating your other best asset… the eyes!

GLOWING LUMINOUS SKIN – HOW TO

Here’s how you get the perfect Valentine’s Day makeup look. The first step to achieving luminous skin is in nailing the right skincare routine, and not all of us have the time nor the money for regular salon/spa treatments to achieve that ‘glow’.

Prep & Base:

♡Start by cleansing your face and using an exfoliating scrub to remove any dead skin.

♡Followed by using a moisturizing mask: I just love the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask, perfect for dry to normal skin. After only 15 min, it gives it such a glow. Your skin will feel smooth and super hydrated. For oily skin types, I’d recommend that you stick to your usual moisturizer.

♡When applying your desired moisturizer to your face, neck and décolletage, don’t forget to hydrate the area under your eyes. The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream and Eye-to-rescue cream is one of my go-to’s. If you have oily skin, I would recommend that you apply only a very small amount, as both creams are super-rich.

♡So, which foundation can you use for this special day? In my video tutorial, I used the Luminous Silk Foundation by Giorgio Armani. It gives a light to medium coverage and uses their exclusive Micro–fil™ technology to sculpt and brighten the skin. I’d definitely vote it in as this year’s Valentine’s Day staple. For oily skin, you can try using their matte foundation for a base as there will be plenty of opportunity later to add the glow.

A VISION OF GOLDEN PERFECTION – THE EYES

Frame those soul windows in that ‘golden hour’ glow all day long and he’ll get lost within them. To create these mesmerizing Golden Eyes, first, decide on your preference; if you want to go with a discrete look, then you will only need to apply a golden highlighter, for which I’d suggest any of these options:
