Third Wedding Anniversary Maternity Shoot
Following my baby shower last month, I booked in to have my maternity shoot with BCME vendor Liz JvR Photography. I have known Liz for a few years now and consider her a good friend too. Her work is always breath-taking and I knew I wanted her to capture this special time for Adam, the Bump and I.
We decided to take a trip down memory lane and re-visit our beautiful wedding venue, Desert Palm PER AQUUM. As some of you may recall, three years ago on that memorable day, came an electric thunderstorm, which, while the wedding was still beautiful, prevented us from having our wedding pictures taken in our desired locations. I swore on that day that I would come back to have pictures taken when I was pregnant, and so I did….three years later.
Adam is a bit camera shy, so most of the pictures below are of myself and bump, but I am glad I got some shots of the three of us too; how could I not!? I did feel humongous next to him though, as we are both the same height. Add to that my widening waistline and well…lol!
I wore a gorgeous maroon dress from Plume Hats, also available at Dee’s Boutique, whilst my make-up was applied by the lovely Louise of The Louise Monique and hair by Be Bar Blow Dry Bar in Jumeirah. I loved my dress so much, that I wore the same one, but in blue to my baby shower; the dress is super versatile and can be worn in thirty different ways and is perfect for pregnant ladies who want to be comfy and stylish too.
We enjoyed re-visiting the Desert Palm and always feel so welcome there. The venue has several locations that are picture perfect and ideal for any type of shoot, be it an engagement, maternity or styled shoot. I was lucky enough to stumble across a lady training one of her horses on the grounds and she agreed to let us take a few shots with the beauty! I adore horses, so it was a little dream come true!
I hope you enjoy the pictures below and if they leave you inspired for your own future maternity shoot or engagement shoot, click on the links below for further details on the vendors involved.
Ciao for now….
