Choosing wedding colour schemes can be tricky, and we appreciate that every bride to-be could use a little inspiration. On a weekly basis, we scour the net, searching for stunning wedding colour scheme combinations, that will help inspire your big day.

Today we offer Autumn Blues. We personally adore this cool Autumn theme, perfect for a chic city wedding with a touch of Parisian class.

The key to this palette looking pretty rather than cold is to mix and layer the shades rather than focussing on just one of each of the colours. Using an assortment of fabrics will do this, and will also add a beautiful richness to proceedings. So create place settings with wooden chargers atop linen tablecloths and ornate vintage cutlery tied with silk ribbon; incorporate velvet furniture, glass serveware and texture wherever possible. 

Whether you’re planing a destination wedding to Paris or not, these colours are the epitome of chic, so think elegant and opulent decor with chandaliers, mixed metals and lashings of lace for your dress.
