Wedding Colour Scheme

Choosing wedding colour schemes can be tricky, and we appreciate that every bride-to-be could use a little inspiration. On a weekly basis, we scour the net, searching for stunning wedding colour scheme combinations, that will help inspire your big day.

Today we offer a mood board inspired by one of Pantones 2016 colours of choice, rose quartz. This mood board was created by our friend and BCME vendor Ritu over Creative Box, who also used this colour scheme as inspiration for her recent clients wedding invitations. Below, Ritu  talks us through the mood board and the stunning invitation created for a Nigerian couple, planning their wedding in Dubai.

From The Designer

The invitation featured in this mood board, was created for a Nigerian Couple. The brief was to create an invite in blush and rose gold. The bride wanted a personlised monogram with a royal and vintage edge  – we created the monogram with rose gold foiling, giving it the royal touch. The use of rose quartz across the invite compliments the rose gold foiling, making it an interesting combination. The colours chosen for the invite and overall colour scheme are feminine, yet regal, a very complimentary combination.
