Last week, team BCME hosted it’s annual wedding industry Pre-Iftar dinner, and the venue this year was an opulent restaurant nestled against the stunning backdrop of Al Seef Dubai Creek – Doors Freestyle Grill. Our Pre-Iftar gathering has become a fantastic opportunity for industry movers and shakers and BCME vendors alike to come together before the holy-month to network, share ideas and advice and of course, have some fun!
BCME vendor and photographer, Azizah Crane, was on hand to capture the beautiful setting and our glammed up guests in all their glory.
As always, the style of the evening had a subtle ‘wedding feel’ to it which was made possible by some of our incredibly talented BCME vendors. From flower arrangements courtesy of 800 Flower, Place Cards and Ramadan Moon Props from E-Walls Studio, Ramadan inspired Giveaways from Quite Quiant Brides and heavenly scented candles from LAVA Moments; Bride Club ME transformed the Doors Freestyle Grill Private Dining Room into a gorgeous, decadent backdrop fit for any special occasion.
Our guest vendors included Theresa D Celebrant, Tasneem from TA weddings & Special Occasions and Jessy from Rebekah’s Bespoke Tailoring, to name just a few. Thanks to the incredible chefs at Doors Freestyle Grill, our guests were treated to a delectable feast as we got to experience an exclusive preview of the Door’s Ramadan Iftar Menu including delicious Pomegranate Salad, succulent Kebab Adana, Grilled King Prawns and traditional Baklava, and they were just a few of the highlight dishes that we devoured!
Our hosts, Doors Freestyle Grill, a high-end steakhouse restaurant and BCME vendor, was the perfect setting for our stylish Pre-Iftar function. The Private Dining Room, which we were lucky enough to be one of the first to experience, is the ideal space to host an intimate hen party, rehearsal dinner or baby shower. Behind the huge carved wooden doors, the interior of the restaurant is tastefully over-the-top, in true Dubai fashion, with lavish interiors that glitter in real gold.
Team Bride Club ME had our very own glam squad for the night courtesy of some of our amazing beauty vendors. Hair and Nails were provided by Be Bar Blowdry Bar. Jewelry was lent to us by Caroline Svedbom and BCME Founder, Rhiannon, had her makeup done by Makeup Artist, Laure Sejean. And in case you’re wondering, Rhiannon’s gorgeous kaftan was designed by herself and bought to life by Rebekah’s Bespoke Tailoring.
We also held a competition on the night for the two best dressed guests, voting for anonymously by all of our wonderful attendees. The lucky winners, who won fabulous prizes donated by our vendors 800 Flower and Quite Quiant Brides, were Chandan Sojitra, who donned a sharp, embroidered tuxedo, and Makeup Artist Laure Sejean, who wowed in a spectacular multicoloured kaftan.
