Brideclubme.com Celebrates their Official Launch at the Park Hyatt Dubai.

They’re here!!! Our Bride Club ME launch photos!! We were waiting oh so patiently for them to arrive and are delighted with what was captured in celluloid. Our resident photographer and contributing writer, Alice Hartley, has done sterling of job depicting the joy and magic of the night. Snapping away, chatting with guests and launch partners, you would have all felt Alice’s presence behind the lens.

Who else was papping away? The lovely Kelly Brbich from ‘The House of Photography’ graciously sent us some special shots she took during the evening. We loved putting together this post and reliving the euphoria of the evening – from going live with the website on the 22^nd of November, taking a short cat nap after the mania of a pre-event all-nighter; diving head-long into full-throttle coordination mode with Clare Ebbs our event planner, then letting it all just flow as guests arrived and speeches were made.

Seriously, what would we have done without the efficient and remarkably organised Ms Ebbs? A delight to work with (and take instruction from!!), Clare is the founder of ‘The Perfect Moment’, an institution here Dubai for those who wish for their wedding to be professionally stage managed.

As we mentioned in our thank you speech that night, putting together a website as well as an event is a team effort and we wanted to give a BIG THANKS to all the partners and sponsors who helped us make the launch event a reality.

For this event, we partnered with some of the crème de la crème of the UAE wedding industry, all of whom were excited to have the opportunity to celebrate the launch of www.brideclubme.com and add their special touch to the evening. Hats off to the Park Hyatt Dubai, our event sponsor: those who attended the grounds of the Park Hyatt experienced the glitter and serenity a fabulous venue like this can put on for guests. One word: WOW!

With the melody of the saxophone, played beautifully by Adam Long, guests started to arrive at our launch. It was a beautiful balmy evening and the event sparkled with elegance and romance, helped along with perfect mood lighting supplied by our sound, stage and lighting partner SWANK AV. Soon after Adam Long had finished his intro sax set,  DJ Patrick Pereira Nielsen showcased his skills by playing sweet soulful house tracks Guests and Bride Club Vendors were spied swishing and swaying to the beats.

Warmth and romance with a modern twist: this was our aim. We asked ‘Wud Flowers’ to design floral arrangements just for us. Their blueprint was spot on: rustic wood, baby wreath arches, tiny vases holding single blooms of blood red roses. Oh my!

We cannot thank our caterer for the evening (the Park Hyatt Dubai Culinary team), enough for their hard work and delicious food and drink. We know everyone loved every single bite and gulp. Specially created pink mocktails greeted guests upon their arrival and no one was left standing without a drink in their hands.

Many of you in Dubai are already familiar with the Pistache – Chic pastry boutique, located in the host sponsor venue ‘The Park Hyatt Dubai’. Pistache creates delectable cakes and desserts. Pistache contributed to a tablescape and dessert table during our launch. We were absolutely astonished at the wedding cake they created just for us, branding, bling and all! Pistache – Chic Pastry Boutique’s delicious goodies at our party went down a treat. Each and every cookie was secreted away by those in attendance and happy mouths were seen throughout the night munching merrily away.

Brides-to-be, wedding vendors and press in attendance enjoyed interactive services in our ‘Bridal Boudoir’ zone, such as seated massages courtesy of the Amara Spa – Park Hyatt Dubai, beautiful Henna art courtesy of the renowned henna artist ‘Vandana Makar’ with a touch of Swarovski bling, supplied by ‘Dazzling Straps’ who were also exhibiting and show casing their stunning range of products.

Nuit D’ Art showcased their luxurious French lingerie daintily hanging on clothes lines while we all secretly wished to be slipping into their panties and bras! ‘Clean Heels UAE’ exhibiting their shoe-saving ‘heel stoppers’ perfect for outdoor wedding ceremonies, and indeed any place where the stylish woman may come into contact with grass! In fact, Bride Club ME founder Rhiannon Downie made an emergency stop at the Clean Heels stand to grab herself a pair of the miracle workers. No more of that sinking feeling for Rhiannon…

Eek! Time now for the speeches! To prepare the Bride Club ME girls for stage, we were treated to hair and make-up from the POSH by feryal Salon, Burj Al Arab and our stunning dresses were supplied by ‘Contessa Boutique’ Dubai, who also had three models grace the event wearing Ersa Atelier wedding and evening gowns. Emcee extraordinaire was the beautiful, vivacious radio presenter and founder of Cheapnchic.net, Simone Heng. Look out for Simone on Bride Club ME’s Expert Panel. She is available to answer nervous bride’s questions on any matter involving  DIY wedding inspirations.

Speeches done, glasses raised and congratulations made to one and all, the DJ Patrick Pereira Nielsen cranked up the tunes. Velvet bean bags were the perfect spot to park well-heeled legs for guests who wished to chat amongst themselves and sip champagne long into the night.

 We were thrilled to read so many well wishes from guests who jotted down their wee love-notes on the Bride Club ME ‘Good luck tree’.

Others chose to have fun in the Pod You Like Photo booth, grabbing wigs, oversized sunglasses and tiaras for their paparazzi moment, and let’s not forget the fantastic Flashback girls with their video booth, interviewing guests and daring them to sing a love song or two on camera! LOL. We can’t wait to see the video, coming soon!

 As our short and sweet launch came to an end, the Bride Club ME team announced the winners of our ‘Business Card’ prize draw on stage. Lucky guests won fabulous prizes such as gift voucher from online gift registry Mylist.ae, delicate diamante dress straps from ‘Dazzling Straps’ and pairs of genius ‘Heel Stoppers’ from Clean Heels. Everyone attending left with big smiles too, for hidden inside the pretty Bride Club ME gift bag were treats to share: handmade heart biscuits from Pistache, aromatic herbal tea and spa vouchers from the Amara spa, fresh detox drinks from Detox delight, stationary design gift vouchers from Creative Box, gift vouchers from the fabulous TKD lingerie, a UAE Getaway guide courtesy of CPI publishing, pink candles and a 2013 calendar from the Perfect Moment, buy one /get one free pass from Clean Heels, and much, much more.

And to round the event off, we had the talented ‘Morning Jacket Films’ team film the full evening, bringing their creative videography skills to the table. We look forward to seeing the final video in a few weeks.

Our launch party was truly collaboration at its best. Each and every wedding that we feature on Brideclub ME.com and the work that we do is a joining of talent brought about by a team of creative professionals. There is never just one person who does it all. In this spirit, we want to thank all of our collaborators for their generosity, time, hard work and great attitudes.
