Every week, we will be shining the spot light on our Bride Club ME vendor club members, allowing our readers to get up close and personal with some of the best wedding vendors in town. Here, you can learn more about the people behind the businesses to make your wedding day perfect!

This week we have the privilege of showcasing the team at Goldfish Photography & Video. Goldfish provides us with an exclusive insight into the company, their photography and video services, and share with us what they love the most about their jobs.

• How long has your company been established and what do you do?

Goldfish has been in business since September 2012, we are based in Dubai Media City. We are a full service boutique photography & video company offering Cinematic Video and Modern Dynamic Photography. Our four founding members have a huge combined thirty years of experience, we have you covered, no matter what!

We also specialise in Slow Motion Cinematography. Our Cinematographer and Co-Founder Andy is an Expert in this field allowing us to offer you something extra special for your wedding video. • What do you love most about your work?

When people are asked what the happiest day of their life is, their wedding day is always up there alongside the birth of their children. We love photographing weddings because we get to capture the emotion on that special day. Dubai, is such a melting pot of different cultures and traditions that weddings are always varied and exciting, which is something that we absolutely love.

Weddings are a big part of our business, but not the only part. A large area of our business is focused on commercial, corporate video, family, new-born portraiture, events & fashion. Every day is different and that makes it really interesting!

• Do you have any excit­ing projects com­ing up?

We have lots to be excited about. Over the next few months we will be photographing Rio, the Founder of BCME with her very own beau Adam on their big day at Desert Palm. We have no doubt that this will be a wonderful wedding to remember! We also have a three day wedding celebration we are really looking forward to. It will be set over three different locations, and bursting with colour and tradition. The different location settings will make for some really amazing and varied photo opportunities.

• Do you have a favourite ceremony and / or reception location in the UAE?

We are very spoilt for choice in the UAE for spectacular settings to celebrate your special day. We like variety at Goldfish so we love to experience venues that we haven’t been to before. We love coming up with new, fresh ideas, and new locations will always spark thoughts and ideas. Having said that, The One & Only on The Palm does hold a very special place in our hearts, as two of our co-founders were married there last year. It’s setting on The Palm gives the opportunity for such great imagery incorporating the Dubai skyline and the city, as well as the stunning beach areas and the courtyards of this boutique hotel. It has both a relaxed and elegant feel, it is pretty breathtaking!

• Describe your style and approach to photography:

We try to capture your wedding day in a very discreet way, also making sure you feel at ease. We realise that this is your day and we are there to lend a creative eye and record it for you. We like to strike a balance of getting exactly what you want and being in the right place at the right time, giving direction, whilst being as inconspicuous as possible. At the foundation of our team we are two married couples, so we like to think we have a good understanding of what a couple want on their wedding day.

We also think it is important to work closely with our couples in the lead up to the big day, arranging a few short meetings to discuss the details and getting a good idea of styles and images that they may or may not like.

• How can our readers (Brides) benefit from your service?

We offer a personal service and work closely with our couples. We like to get to know a little bit about you to understand how to tell your story.

Knowing this before will help us capture stunning contemporary images that bring out your uniqueness, both as a couple, and your individual personality too!

• If you could give one piece of advice to expat brides to-be, what would it be?

Meet your photographers & cinematographers before your big day. Make sure you are comfortable with them, and they understand what you want. Raid the internet for ideas and styles of shots that you like, this will get you both on the same wavelength.

• Lastly, why did you choose to list with www.brideclubme.com?

On our initial meeting with Rio, the Founder of BCME, we found that we had a common goal in what we were looking to achieve, in that Goldfish & BCME aim to offer the same personal service to their Brides.

In addition to that, Bride Club ME has a strong online presence in the region and is connected to lots of wedding related companies and Brides to Be. It has been a fabulous platform for us to showcase our wedding Photography & Video.  We are very happy to be a part of BCME.
