This week we have the privilege of showcasing Sarah Arjam, head of the wedding planning division at Chic Alors Dubai. Sarah provides us with exclusive insight into the company Chic Alors, her approach to wedding planning, and shares with us what she loves most about her job.

How long has your company been established and what do you do?

We have been established since 2002. We provide luxury event services and wedding planning from A to Z. I head the bridal department for Chic Alors.

What do you love most about your work?

The constant change and challenge…always something new to work with and new interactions.
 
Do you have any excit­ing projects com­ing up?

Always! We have two amazing weddings this month (March) in the UAE, which we are very excited about, as well as another 5 weddings over the summer in Lebanon…so plenty happening to keep us busy and ticking.
 
Do you have a favourite ceremony and / or reception location in the UAE?

There are a lot of venues that we love to work  with. The ones that stand out are Desert Palm, Magnolia in Madinat Jumeirah and the Raffles ballroom with its botanical gardens.

Describe your wedding planning style and approach events. 

I would say our style is friendly and personal, but at the same time organised, professional and hands on…we like to balance it out so that the true essence of a wedding or event isn’t lost. We know it’s a process that couples find daunting; however, we like to lighten it up and to remind  them that it is a celebration at the end of the day…the journey to the wedding day counts, so we like to keep the fun alive as we go along.
 
How can our readers (Brides) benefit from your service?

I think our work ethic generally provides a lot of support to our clients. So Bride club ME readers will be benefiting from our professionalism, efficiency, creativity, our personality and fun approach.

If you could give one piece of advice to expat brides to-be, what would it be?

Give Chic Alors a call and most importantly enjoy the process!

We were researching the internet for blogs and informative websites on weddings in the UAE and Bride Club ME came up… we felt that it is the right place for us to be and to highlight what we offer to brides to be visiting the site.
