This week we have the privilege of showcasing Kameliya Petrova and Menka Bhatia, at Event Factory.  Kameliya and Menka provide us with an exclusive insight into their company ‘Event Factory’,  their approach to wedding planning and share with us what they the love most about their work.

• How long has ‘Event Factory’ been established and what do you do?

We have been officially active for 2 years, after our success planning weddings as free-lancers, we launched our wedding planning company in February 2013.

• What do you love most about your work?

• Do you have any excit­ing projects com­ing up?

All of our projects are exciting as they are all different. We are currently planning a Kazakhstani wedding in which the theme, the functions, the ceremony and the rest is refreshingly unusual and different from what we’ve done in the past.  Some of our ongoing projects are mixed culture weddings, so that brings together a fusion of cultures and these are also very exciting to plan as well.

• Do you have a favourite ceremony and / or reception location in the UAE?

We like all the beach venues by the Jumeirah strip and The Ritz Carlton- JBR. We adore Park Hyatt Dubai and Grand Hyatt.

• Describe your wedding planning style and approach events.

All our weddings are customised and we get to know the bride, the groom and their families beforehand. We offer them ideas and services based on their requirements and visions. We love ideas and innovation. We strive to create unique weddings for each couple and what they love the most. We aim to turn all dreams into a perfect creation.

• How can our readers (Brides & Grooms) benefit from your service?

We’ve grown up in Dubai and know the local market very well. We are highly experienced with the rules and regulations of different locations and the government.  Since we are a boutique events agency we work on a personal level and each client is important to us. We offer a free one hour wedding PA service to all the Bride Club ME readers.

• If you could give one piece of advice to expat brides to-be, what would it be?

Hire a wedding planner. You might think you can do it alone, and you probably can, but having the knowledge the wedding planner can offer and support on the day makes the whole experience worthwhile. After all, don’t we all want a Dream Wedding? Also, research as much as you can, as it will always help you find out what you want and give you more ideas.

• Lastly, why did you choose to list with www.brideclubme.com?
