This week we have the privilege of showcasing Diala Abu Issa, Owner of The Bridal Showroom. Diala provides us with exclusive insight into the Bridal Showroom, their bridal gowns, and shares with us what she loves most about her job.

•   How long has The Bridal Showroom been established and what makes your bridal boutique different?

The Bridal Showroom was established in February 2012 in JLT. We opened our second location in December 2012, in Galeries Lafayette Dubai Mall.

The Bridal Showroom prides itself on its customer service. We ensure every bride gets the attention she deserves. Our bridal consultants are highly trained to give the best advice to every bride. We also offer an extensive range of designs from a large number of designers to satisfy our international clientele.

• What do you love most about your work?

Wow! There are so many aspects of my work I love. Working with new brides every day is very exciting! I meet so many interesting people with very different backgrounds.

I also love going on buying trips. I am always excited to see what the new trends are, what new collections the designers I carry have in the pipeline.

• Do you have any excit­ing business plans in the pipe line for The Bridal Showroom?

Having opened two locations in less than a year has been very exciting and stressful. For the time being, I am just focusing on my two locations.

• Describe the experience a bride to-be will have when visiting your boutique?

Brides are escorted into one of our large fitting rooms, where they are welcomed by our highly trained bridal consultants. They spend some time discussing what the bride is looking for. After going through our collection, we welcome her to try her selection.

• If you could give one piece of advice to expat brides to-be, what would it be?

Keep an open mind when shopping for your wedding dress. Try different silhouettes and fabrics, because you might not like a dress on the hanger but it could be ‘The One’.

• Lastly, why did you choose to list with www.brideclubme.com?

I think the concept behind Brideclubme.com is what every bride-to-be needs while planning for their wedding. The team has been very active in providing the best tips, resources to all brides-to-be in the UAE. Being part of this community has just been a great experience.
