The Middle East Wedding Alliance Powered By ILEA Celebrate Their Launch

Last week a host of event industry professionals from all over the region gathered at The London Project, Bluewater Island, to celebrate the launch of MEWA (The Middle East Wedding Alliance) powered by ILEA (The International Live Events Association).

The International Live Events Association, ILEA, is a global community of thousands of creative event professionals whose skills, expertise and experience power some of the most recognized and respected live events around the world. ILEA provides education and collaborative networking opportunities that achieve creative event experiences.

MEWA, powered by ILEA, is a brand new consortium of wedding professionals in the region. Arun Bablani and Rahul Kumar (Vivaah Weddings), Mallika Singh (Fête Events), Sherin Al Alami (La Clé), Zainab Al Salih (Carousel Events), Paul Berger (Arena Group Middle East & Asia) and current President of ILEA, amongst others, make up the alliance. 

The Alliance has been created under the aegis of ILEA and will represent the wedding industry of the Middle East. This collective of industry experts have come together to form MEWA with a joint objective to regulate the industry, whilst also increasing engagement and opportunities.
