A Relaxed Beach Engagement Shoot by Liz JvR Photography

Today we bring you an engagement shoot from the talented Liz at Liz JvR Photography, who captured Mashaal and Omer in this stunning beach setting. This couple really do look so happy together, and we love how Liz has cleverly made use of the sea to add some movement to the images! We also adore how the cool blue and black colours, worn by the couple and seen in the balloons, compliment the surrounding sea and dramatic rocks.

Mashaal and Omer met for the first time at high school in Dubai back in 2006, but lost contact with each other when Omer moved to Canada to continue his studies. Fortunately, in 2014 the pair got back in touch, and Omer asked Mashaal out within a month. Omer proposed in front of all of his and Mashaal’s friends and family, and despite the fact that the two married on 7^th August 2015, he still proposes to her every now and again, because he knows she enjoys it so much. They now both live in Toronto, Canada.

When couples are comfortable in front of the camera and just enjoy themselves and forget that I am there, it really shows in the images! Mashaal and Omer had the most enduring looks for each other – they really laughed and giggled and looked absolutely in love.

We just caught the sunset and had about 45 minutes of light left for this shoot, as they were caught up in the well known Sharjah traffic on the way to their session. It’s the first time I have used these rocks as a backdrop for a shoot, but I think I like the dramatic look it gives to the images, softened by the love these two have for each other.
