BCME’s Favourite Ballroom Wedding Venues In Dubai 

Whilst Dubai has an amazing range of outdoor wedding venues in which to celebrate your big day, it also has an array of sumptuous ballrooms within the walls of its five-star venues. Today, we take you through some of our favourites.

Couples in the UAE often opt for ballrooms over outdoor spaces for a number of reasons. Firstly, a lot of ballrooms in the UAE can hold hundreds of people, making them the perfect choice if you are having a large wedding. They also offer a certain amount of privacy that you may not get when outside on the beach, for example. Another consideration amongst couples is that although we can generally rely on the weather when it rains, it rains, and sandstorms can be rather unpleasant! Choosing a ballroom takes the stress out of wondering ‘what if’ in terms of weather.

Fairmont The Palm

What better place for a truly ‘Dubai’ wedding than the iconic Palm Jumeirah? The opulent Palm Ballroom has space for 400 seated guests or, if you’re having a standing reception, 500 people. The décor is neutral, meaning that you can cater it to your own unique theme. In addition, natural light floods the ballroom, making it perfect for day time events, and there are pre-function areas on either side. Another stunning venue on the Palm, Sofitel The Palm Resort & Spa has a beautiful ballroom that is available for a range of different weddings and set ups. Suitable for couples who are expecting up to 700 guests, the ballroom again has pre-function areas and can be transformed according to your own tastes and vision.

Waldorf Astoria, Dubai Palm Jumeirah

The Grand Ballroom at the Waldorf Astoria is truly majestic, with ground to ceiling mirrors giving it a regal air. There is enough space for 700 people at a standing reception, or alternatively, 380 people can be seated banquet style, in tables of ten. At 20 metres high, the high ceilings are bound to leave an everlasting impression on your guests.

The Address Dubai Marina

Offering sweeping views of Dubai Marina, the Constellation Ballroom at The Address can accommodate up to 800 seated guests. There’s also a spacious foyer area where your guests can mingle, which is an ideal place for them to enjoy canapés whilst you both get your pictures taken, before moving inside for dinner. What’s more, an outdoor area extends from the foyer for guests to enjoy some air when the weather allows.

Desert Palm

A few weeks ago, we talked about the gorgeous outdoor spaces on offer at Desert Palm. But did you know that there is also an indoor venue at this prestigious resort? Desert Palm’s conference facility, the Polo Rooms, has firmly established itself on the events stage and has played host to a number of high profile corporate events and weddings. Nestled behind the resort’s luscious polo fields, the state-of-the-art event facility is a unique offering in a unique setting.
