Valentine’s Day in the UAE

If you’ve yet to make plans for Valentine’s Day, don’t panic! We’ve done the groundwork for you, and have asked some of our favourite venue vendors for the low down of how they will be helping their guests to celebrate this special day. Whether you’re planning a romantic staycation or an intimate dinner for two, we’ve got it all covered! Take your pick from this selection and surprise your other half with a day to remember. If you can’t spend the actual day together, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s plenty on offer throughout February. Read on, but be warned; you’ll be spoilt for choice!

The Address Dubai Mall

There are a number of options available to you if you fancy making The Address Dubai Mall your venue of choice. From 7pm-11pm on 12^th and 13^th February, you can dine al fresco at Cabana with accompanying views of the Burj Khalifa, as well as the sounds of their resident DJ and a saxophonist. There’s a sumptuous set menu available, and those really wishing to push the boat out can have a private dinner in their very own poolside cabana.

Price: 385 AED per person, with a set menu inclusive of soft beverages.

You can never go wrong with a massage, and The Address Dubai Mall’s Valentines Spa promotion will see you both enjoy a 60 minute couples’ massage and a 30 minute head and scalp massage. This experience also includes pool access complete with a special gift, and is valid throughout the month of February from 10am-10pm every day

Dubai Marina Yacht Club

If you’re based in the Marina and don’t like the idea of trekking across town, there’s some great options available at The Yacht Club. For example, you could enjoy a culinary journey together at the ‘Perfect Pairing’ evening on 14^th February at Aquara Terrace. Ingredients will be matched with signature beverages, and you’ll have mesmerising views of the Marina as you dine.

Alternatively, if you’re looking for an extra special evening, what could be more romantic than a luxury cruise on board a 43-foot yacht? You’ll have exclusive use of the yacht for a three-hour cruise, which includes a three course set menu and unlimited house and soft beverages, in addition to a bottle of bubbly. Your yacht will be adorned with Valentine’s decorations, and you’ll have your own captain and hostess. Even better, you’ll also receive a spa voucher for a 50 minute Balinese massage for two at the hotel! Gents, if you’re reading this, this would be the perfect opportunity to propose!

Al Maha Resort

It’s no secret that we love Al Maha and their gorgeous desert surroundings! Throughout February, this luxurious resort is offering a suite with full board dining options and desert activities. In addition to this, if you wish you can opt for dining in the privacy of your own suite deck with the services of a personal butler, or enjoy a private dune picnic dinner under the stars. Arabian Ranches Golf Club

On 13^th February, dine by the water’s edge in this romantic outdoor setting at Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Everything will be taken care of, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy their sumptuous culinary creations, the elegant surroundings, and of course, the company of your loved one!

JW Marriott Marquis

There’s so much going on at the JW Marriott Marquis this February, that we found it really hard to narrow down the options for you!

Firstly, why not take the opportunity to dine under the stars at Aqua, alongside a stunning pool terrace. The five course menu features delights such as Gillardeau oysters, confit prawns, king crab and roasted Japanese Wagyu. You will also receive a free bottle of Champagne, and there are a limited number of exclusive candlelit tables available.

Price: 1,200 AED per couple.

Next up, if you enjoy Indian cuisine, why not try the seven course set menu at the Rang Mahal restaurant. Multi-award winning chef, Amrish Sood, has created a ‘Royal Love Stories’ menu, with each course having its own tale to tell. There’s also special gifts the girls, luxury limousine pick-up and drop-off, and a welcome glass of Champagne.

Price: 950 AED per couple.

Last but not least at the JW Marriott Marquis, enjoy Valentine’s Day at Tong Thai, voted Time Out Dubai’s best Thai restaurant. You’ll be picked up by your own luxury limousine before being whisked off to your private dining area to enjoy a candlelit, five course menu, which showcases fourteen unique dishes formerly served at the royal palace of Thailand. Enjoy your meal with a bottle of Laurent Perrier Brut NV and unlimited house beverages, before heading home again in your luxury limousine.

Park Hyatt, Abu Dhabi

At the Park Hyatt, Abu Dhabi, you can combine a massage at Atarmia Spa with a range of dining options. Enjoy a 60 minute couples’ massage, complete with a special Jacuzzi bath, chocolate strawberries and a glass of Prosecco, then work up an appetite with some couples’ yoga.

You’ll be spoilt for choice with the dining options available, with a semi-private poolside cabana and personalised service being one of the many experiences offered. Here, you’ll enjoy a three course set menu and two glasses of bubbly. Moreover, you can also take advantage of a chauffer service of a pick up and drop off within Abu Dhabi City, two glasses of French bubbly and a three course set menu, if you’re so inclined.

Saadiyat Beach Club

Safina restaurant at Saadiyat Beach Club, Abu Dhabi, is offering a one night only, Valentine’s Degustation Menu. The world-class, eight course menu features only the finest dishes, such as scallop carpaccio with delicious passion fruit, sallcornia and crispy quinoa, blow torched scampi, josper charcoal grilled Wagyu beef tenderloin with barolo grape reduction, crumbed asparagus, creamy topinambur and truffle. Those with a sweet tooth will fall in love with the lemon cream, strawberry gelato, chocolate and dried berries crumble with italian meringue. Finally, diners can enjoy special love treats as they gaze over the shores of the Arabian Gulf.
