Bride Club ME Founder, Joins The International Academy of Wedding & Event Planning 2016 & 2017 Advisory Board
After a successful couple of years with a dedicated Advisory Panel, the International Academy of Wedding & Event Planning are delighted to announce that this year they have teamed up with 29 of the world’s leading wedding professionals to create their 2016 and 2017 global Advisory Board.
Established in 2004, the International Academy of Wedding & Event Planning exists as an online portal of courses and information that enable those working in the wedding and events industry, such as planners and stylists, to further enhance their careers and develop professionally. With an internationally recognised accreditation programme and six online ‘campuses’, the academy is based on the core values of ‘learn’, ‘educate’, ‘inspire’, ‘connect’, and ‘graduate’.
The updated advisory board panel comes hot on the heels of the International Academy of Wedding & Event Planning’s, Arabian Wedding Planning Academy campus launch earlier this year. Director of the Academy, Kylie Carlson, said:
After a successful 2014 and 2015 working with leading wedding professionals, this year we decided to give our advisory board a more global feel and unite all six of our campuses by creating one advisory board. I am excited to announce the new 2016 and 2017 advisory board, which brings together some of the world’s top wedding experts. Each member brings something different to the board and we are looking forward to working with them all.
The advisory panel includes professionals from Australia, United States of America, Caribbean, United Kingdom, South Africa and more recently, the United Arab Emirates. Each panel member specialises in different areas of the wedding industry.
Bride Club ME are delighted to announce that its founder, Rhiannon Downie-Hurst, has been chosen as a key advisor in the area of Wedding Media and Marketing. Alongside Rhiannon, several BCME vendors also make up the UAE advisory board panel, including Mennat Al Hammami of Cloud Nine Weddings & Events, and Claire Ebbs of Aghareed, in addition to wedding stylist and blogger, Joelle at My Lovely Wedding.
Talking of joining the panel, Rhiannon says;
I am delighted to have been approached by the International Wedding Planning Academy to become an advisory panel member of the Arabian Wedding Planning Academy. I feel that the UAE hosts a plethora of incredible talent in the wedding industry, many of whom are really looking to develop their skills and become the best in their field. I truly believe that the academy’s list of professional courses will really help many aspiring event planners in the region and as an advocate of professionalism and business ethics, I am happy to support this initiative.
