Festive ’Jingle & Mingle’ Celebration At Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club

Last week BCME hosted our Christmas bash in the outdoor courtyard at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club. Wedding industry experts gathered to mingle with Dubai based brides and grooms over mulled wine or a glass of sparkling non-alcoholic grape, supplied by Pearls Beverages LLC, making new connections and reflecting on the year that has passed.

The theme of the event was ‘Jingle and Mingle’, and we certainly did both! Firstly, let’s talk about the event design. The events theme was conceptualised by Rio of Bride Club ME, who enlisted the services of the super talented Tasneem from Tasneem Alibhai Weddings to make her vision a reality, with styling and vendor coordination. The emerald green velvet furniture, gold table top décor and blush floral details resulted in a fresh, modern approach to the traditional red and green festive designs. We will definitely be attempting to replicate this fresh look at Christmas dinner parties at home this season! Furniture was sourced from Innovative Hiring Event Furniture, who’s stunning gold cocktail tables and green velvet furniture had guests in Awe. Party Social, provided all the pretty sparkly linens and luxe table wear, with Ewalls, adding their magic touch with signage. The balloon decorated photo wall was provided by Balloons & More and the stunning table flowers were curtesy of Firenze Flora.

Sound and light were provided by the Sound Kraft LLC team, and their work was flawless. We especially loved the snowflake gobo’s circulating around the venue, giving an added festive flair.

Food is always a high priority at Christmas parties, and we think Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club really hit the mark with their menu for this event. Canapés such as salmon pâté cones were circulated amongst guests at the start of the event, and were followed by a delicious buffet of sushi, roast meat varieties, roasted chestnuts and more. The true food show stopper, however, was the dessert table where Arwa Federal had laid out the cutest doughnuts I have ever seen, alongside a selection of stunning wedding cakes.

In addition to mingling with potential new customers and catching up with industry friends, we also had a lottery with fabulous gifts for both vendors and brides. Other entertainment included a unique festive mirror photo booth and a boomerang/gif style video booth provided by Fotoboxx, and incredible live fashion portrait drawing by the talented Eliza K at Fashion Sketch Dubai.

DJ Trace was on site to play a mix of festive and dance music all evening, so after a thank you presentation by our founder Rio and event designer Tasneem, we gave in to our dancing feet and hit the floor to jingle the night away!
