It’s that time of year again and team BCME are feeling festive! Last year, we inspired readers with five festive weddings and styled shoots from around the world, and we enjoyed putting it together so much that we thought we’d do it all again for 2017.

A Classic Holiday Wedding In Pittsburgh

Featured on Pittsburgh wedding blog Burgh Brides, this couple has cleverly combined the holiday season with a vintage theme, and the results are spectacular. We love how this wedding makes use of traditional festive colours, with shades of vibrant red and dusty blue being complimented by sparkling fairy lights. Nods to the season were also given by the inclusion of Christmas décor (we particularly adore the ring and bauble shot below) and the cake topper. Read more about this festive wedding here.

An Intimate Christmas Themed Wedding In Virginia

First featured on United With Love in 2014, this winter wonderland wedding again incorporates traditional Christmas hues. Outdoor images of the couple (which you can see in the original feature here) really capture the crisp cool air and the gorgeous winter sun.

Horses & Hot Cocoa Bridal Shoot In Virginia 

Is there anything that conjures up images of winter more than a cup of hot cocoa? We love this shoot from Virgina-based Hill City Bride; it really makes us crave a cooler climate. Jennifer Prince of Hill City Bride says of the shoot:

Winter berries always symbolise the holiday season to me, and I adore the way they are utilised in this styled shoot. From a gorgeous flower crown to a lush tablescape, fresh foliage is thoughtfully placed throughout. The addition of cosy treats and stately horses adds to the festive feel to this lovely holiday session in Virginia.

A Festive, 1930s Inspired London Wedding

This city wedding took place over the festive season in London, and the couple opted for a navy and gold colour scheme, which gave a wintery feel without being obviously ‘Christmas’, making it a great choice for couples who are looking to do something a little different. Speaking of the wedding, Amy Elsworth from Chic Vintage Brides says:
