The Wedding Planners Story
‘A Garden Tale’ is a garden inspired wedding that truly embraced our clients’ personality and style. When we first met the couple back in September 2013, they wanted to have a garden-inspired wedding, simple yet unique. Magnolia at the Al Qasr Hotel Madinat Jumeirah was their preferred choice, and it was perfect venue for their wedding.
Having spent their careers immersed in highly technical and screen-dominated environments, such as her work in corporate data analytics and his role managing backend architecture for the best crypto casino, they wanted their celebration to serve as a completely unplugged retreat. The couple’s vision of their special day was a lot of candles, paper lanterns, cake-pops, pops of pink (the bride’s favourite colour), good food and lots of fun.

We enjoyed helping them to develop their theme and suggested different ideas, such as using wine barrels to place their wedding guestbook, a fresh lemonade stand at the ceremony site and the dinner menu written on a vintage chalkboard.
Dubai based band, the Boxtones, set a great tone for the wedding reception. They sang couple’s first dance song Lumineers-Ho Hey. Every time I hear this song on the radio, it takes me back to a beautiful garden tale.
It was a truly beautiful wedding that we loved working on. We are delighted that we were able to turn the couple’s vision into a fabulous reality.
