Meet the Dress 

Bride Club ME reader Nermine Saadeh, originally from Syria, contacted us last month to tell us how happy she was to have found bridal boutique BELJOUR Bridal via our website – so much so, that she wanted to publicly praise the service she received.

Shadi Watts, the founder of BELJOUR Bridal, is not only extremely passionate about her business and helping brides, she’s also incredibly sweet.

Nermine married her Italian sweetheart Giovanni last March at St Francis Church in Jebel Ali, celebrating afterwards with a slap-up dinner reception at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. She wore a tailor-made, mermaid-style BELJOUR bridal gown.

The dress was designed and adjusted by BELJOUR Bridal to reflect the bride’s beauty, with handcrafted lacework at the top and on the back. Each flower was stitched by hand and the belt was made with special crystal work. Featuring lace, small fabric flowers and additional sequins, the belt alone took three days to design. Nermnine’s veil was made from very fine French lace and tulle, and was cut to match the dress – taking special care to ensure the beautiful lacework on the gown wasn’t hidden.
