Real Dubai Bride Michelle Williams: Getting Organised
After sorting out all of her bridal beauty last month, our real Dubai bride Michelle Williams has made good progress with her wedding planning since the last time we heard from her. With an all important venue visit taking place (no doubt one of many to come in the future), it appears that both Michelle and her fiancé Sam are beginning to visualise exactly how their big day will look. Key decisions are close to being made and vendors are being selected. Read on to find out what Michelle got up to in September!
So this month we’re talking flowers, décor, table set up and wedding celebrants.
I had the pleasure of going down to the Cube by Candylicious store at Dubai Mall to choose our sweet treats for the wedding. We’ve chosen a box each for our guests and we’re happy with the choice we’ve made.
We’ve decided to draft our invites, decide on what we’d like best, get them printed and send them out in the next few weeks. With people attending from all over the world we’ve decided to do it sooner rather than later so that our guests can start booking their flights, accommodation etc.
A couple of weeks ago, my fiancé Sam and I went to Arabian Ranches to look at the table set up so that we can now start to think about arranging centrepieces, flowers and décor. We haven’t selected our florist yet but we’re on the lookout so if you know of anyone you could recommend, please do get in touch.
We have been on the search for a wedding celebrant, someone who’s passionate about marriage and someone to share our special day with us. It is in both mine and my fiancés best interest to make sure that we have a good connection with the person who marries us on the day. We have spoken to a couple of people so far and I have clicked with one person in particular. I will be attending meetings over the next few weeks and will give full details of who we’ve decided to choose in my next post.
Everything is going okay so far and time seems to be going so fast! Before we know it we’ll be walking down the aisle and saying “I do”. I look forward to keeping you up to date with what’s been going on in next month’s post; thanks again for following this journey with me!
Now that the summer heat is finally starting to subside we can welcome the winter sun and start to enjoy the beautiful outdoors again. Happy October everyone!
