Cherry Blossom Love

We love receiving real wedding submissions here at Bride Club ME, even more so when the submission comes from one of our readers and one of our vendors club members combined.

Nancy and Mohamed, both from Egypt, found their wedding Photographer Gul Photography though Bride Club ME, along with several other key suppliers, including the talented floristry team over at Vintage Bloom. Most of our real weddings featured on BCME have been outdoors, but today we share an indoor wedding, which took place at the majestic Sofitel Hotel JBR, earlier this year.

The Egyptian couple and their suppliers, transformed the hotels banquet hall into a magical fairytale wonderland, adorned with cherry blossom trees, gold bird cages and the most delectable candy buffet. Gul photography also provided a new trend sweeping the wedding scene ‘The slow Motion’ video booth. Below, wedding Photographer Gul Hassan, talks us through meeting the couple and his experience as their official wedding photographer.

Nancy and Mohamed got in touch with me through Bride Club ME, after they had seen some of my work published on the website. After a series of emails back and forth, a consultation was set up at Sofitel JBR which was their chosen wedding venue. After a successful meeting, Nancy and Mohamed confirmed me as their photographer.

The entire planning process was undertaken by the couple, they made use of the valuable online resource available through Bride Club ME and booked many of their vendors after finding them on the website, they also sought inspiration and tips in order to help them plan a beautiful and intimate wedding. They gave attention to detail and I was in constant communication with them throughout the process. The wedding reception was transformed in to a beautiful garden setting by Vintage bloom and the guest sign in table complimented the setting with an array of sweets and candies.

A highlight was Fushia Events providing music, lights and effects, which helped create and set the mood throughout the wedding. Dry Ice laid the foundation to a romantic first dance amongst floating Bubbles. The cake cutting was celebrated whilst traditional Arab songs played in the background…

The Gul Photography team set up a slow motion video booth for Nancy and Mohamed’s friends and family, which added to the fun and captured some hilarious moments from the wedding. It was a wedding I will also remember with fondness and am delighted to share with team Bride Club ME.
