A Retro Skate Park Engagement Shoot 

Cool and quirky are two words that perfectly describe our latest engagement shoot submission, sent in by photographer duo Two Quirky.

While we will never tire of beach or desert engagement shoots in Dubai, we love to feature something a little different. From the colorful graffiti wall on Jumeirah Beach Road, the retro skate park, to the casual bus shelter shot, we adore everything about this gorgeous shoot! Below, Two Quirky give us their take on photographing one of Dubai’s coolest couples.

Friends of ours for some time now, we met Marco and Gielane through a shared passion – longboarding. That’s right, photographers do extreme sports too.

The shoot was fun and, as the pair were already comfortable around us, it went very smoothly. A tip for all you engaged couples out there: Meet your photographers before your wedding and spend some time chatting with them, so you don’t feel anxious around them on the day. An engagement/pre-wedding shoot is always a good idea if time permits.

We started this shoot at the Graffiti Wall on Jumeirah Beach Road and then headed to Tashkeel Skate Park, where we spent the rest of the day skating, shooting and jumping on the trampoline. Fun, fun and fun!
