A Versailles Inspired Romantic Styled Shoot

Prepare to be wowed as we bring you this Versailles-inspired styled shoot by our talented BCME expert and vendor, Mennat Al Hammami. As the Founder of Cloud 9 Weddings and Events, Mennat is certainly no stranger to creating and showcasing beautiful imagery that captivates brides-to-be, but what we particularly love about this shoot is the way that the romantic renaissance theme is combined with beautiful Arabic detailing.

Inspired by the gardens of Versailles, the shoot is pretty yet opulent, thanks to dinner plates from BCME vendors Mylist, and the most incredible, intricate details on the cake and desserts by Gourmelicious. Complimenting the gold are cascading shades of purple, which, when combined with pink tones on the table, give an overall feel of pretty extravagance. Furthermore, the model’s nails were creatively designed in a collaboration between both Cloud 9 and The Nail Spa – a range that features ten designs based around different bridal palettes. A Note From The Wedding Planner

This shoot was based on the type of style I typically create for clients living in Abu Dhabi; classic, fairytale-inspired and romantic. The idea came to me after seeing the mood boards of my brides and noticing that they all incorporated the same kind of images. I wanted to inspire brides-to-be with this very coveted style, and also introduce a nail range that complimented this style. When my long time friend and Creative Director of The Nail Spa got in touch with me, I knew exactly who I wanted to work with! We managed to create a shoot in which both bridal beauty and décor complimented each other, whilst keeping the refined taste of UAE women in mind. To do this, I instantly turned to inspiration from the gardens of Versailles and ended up with an overall theme of mid-century romance.
