A ‘Rosy Chic Romance’ Styled Shoot In Dubai By Flower Cocoon
With dreamy shades of pink and a light, romantic feel, we are pleased to bring you this beautiful styled shoot by the talented Gintare Tamuleviciute of Flower Cocoon on the site today. This shoot has an airy feel, with the white walls of Enchanté Studios providing the perfect backdrop, letting the pastel flowers and other décor elements take centre stage.
Gintare worked with some of our favourite vendors to bring her vision to life, and we challenge those of you who may prefer more vivid tones not to fall in love with the images below. Read on to learn more about the shoot.
A Note From The Floral Designer
For a very long time I had an image stuck in my head that I really wanted to recreate. I was therefore delighted when, together with some very talented wedding industry professionals, we made my vision come true! Our talented wedding and lifestyle photographer, Paula Scalco, has beautifully captured every moment and detail of that day.
My style is modern yet romantic and chic. I love playing with light pastel colours as well as different textures of greenery. I pay huge attention to details whether it is in floristry, event styling or everyday life. For this styled shoot I chose a theme that would best represent me and my aesthetics.
I used lots and lots of pastel pink roses, and a touch of creamy O’Hara roses as well as Eustomas. I love these blooms in particular because they tend to last super long, and they resist the heat of Dubai quite well. For that little extra touch, I included some tiny Phalaenopsis and, of course, our show stoppers – pink Anthuriums. I have to mention that Anthuriums have become super trendy lately, with more and more brides across the world choosing to include them in their wedding floral décor.
Every single vendor involved in this styled shoot brought a little extra touch of their own, which gave us an amazing end result; beautiful bridal images that will hopefully inspire many brides-to-be.
Our make-up artist and hair stylist Eirini did amazing work highlighting the beauty of our model Ivana from Cover Page. She used very light, minimalistic make up and added some easy, carefree curls into her hair style.
Nadia from Bridees Wedding Boutique provided a vintage inspired A-line wedding gown featuring a beaded bodice accented in Swarovski crystals and sheer side insets. Beaded spaghetti straps completed the V-neckline and the skirt comprised of tulle with a princess seam slit which made our bride look irresistible.
Rachel from Lasya Intimates astonished us all with her beautiful bridal lingerie collection. I guess the images speak for themselves!
Meanwhile, the incredibly talented Arwa baked a cake that was worthy of sin. It absolutely matched the theme, and the sugar flowers looked so realistic!
Stephanie from SG Letters designed beautiful invitations, menus and place cards all in light pink shades. Her calligraphy work is just mesmerising.
Party Social were very flexible and helped us to select the right table and chairs, as well as charger plates, silverware and glassware. They have a wide selection of items that would probably suit almost every theme you can imagine.
The very talented team from Melrish made a video that beautifully showcased all the hard work of the vendors involved in the styled shoot.
And last but not least, Enchanté Studios was our amazing host venue. The interior of their studio suited our styled shoot better than I could have imagined.
