BCME’s Fifth Anniversary: Our Most Popular Styled Shoots
After featuring our readers’ favourite real weddings earlier this week, we now move on to the most popular styled shoots published here on Bride Club ME as part of our fifth-anniversary celebrations. We constantly receive styled shoot submissions, both from vendors and non-vendors, with only those that meet our strict criteria getting published on the site.
Styled shoots are important as they showcase the work of several wedding industry professionals whilst giving brides-to-be plenty of inspiration for their own weddings. We particularly admire styled shoots that do something a little different (like our own recent shoot, which we can’t wait to share with you soon!) and bring together many of our vendors. So, without further ado, here are our most popular styled shoots!
Ocean Paradise: A Yacht Themed Styled Shoot In Qatar By Eventario
Featured in May 2017, this styled shoot by Doha-based wedding and event planners Eventario imparted on trend greenery with a tropical twist, all on board a luxury yacht.
Speaking of the shoot, Rehab Moustafa of Eventario said:
The Ocean Paradise Romance concept was inspired by the beauty of contrasts. With bright citrus tones, warm fuchsia pink and natural earthy greens, it took place in April – that oh so perfect time of year just between Spring and Summer. The style was both glamorous and intimate, serious yet smiley, natural but also urban. I wanted to create something really unique.

A Beaux-Arts Inspired Wedding Afternoon Styled Shoot By Save The Date
Published on Bride Club ME in October 2016, this stunning shoot organised by Save The Date featured many of our vendors and is one of our personal favourites. The shoot took place at the St. Regis in Dubai and blends the impressive architecture with elegant off-white and natural greenery. We adore it when our vendors get together and demonstrate how their talents complement one another; in this case, Vanila Wedding Boutique, MHG Beauty, Firenze Flora and Enchanté Studios all did an amazing job at bringing Olga’s vision to life.
Of the shoot, Olga said:
We had the honour of both shooting and styling the wedding brochure for the opulent St. Regis Dubai. Every single element of the interior of this hotel is so chic and refined, that you can easily stare at each detail for hours. Our colour palette was rather basic and settled; we mixed grey and off-white with accents of gold and green. I have to admit, my recent passion for grey and gold combinations influenced all further decisions. We matched tall and short centerpieces, combining a few types of blooms with areca palm leaves to create a bold yet elegant look. A myriad of taper candles were placed in different sized holders and scattered around the table.

A Bohemian Romance Styled Shoot In The Athens Riviera
This styled shoot was submitted to us by Greek wedding and event company Eclectic Events. Providing inspiration to brides-to-be who had their hearts set on a beach wedding or a destination wedding, the bright blue skies, gorgeous stationery and bold florals really made us fall in love with this shoot.
Ageliki of Eclectic Events explained the idea behind the shoot and how it all came together:
The grand peninsula of the Athens Riviera was the backdrop of this styled photo-shoot we arranged. The feeling of being on a Greek island that is only 40 km away from downtown Athens was magical and absolutely breathtaking.
The modern Save The Date calendar-style invitation, designed by Just Invite, features coloured heart-shaped fingertips, whilst the name cards “Me” & “You”, speak eloquently of love. The fresh, vivid and carefully chosen flowers by Harmantas Flower Creations, including Senorita-Giardina-Pompidou roses, lisianthus buds, antique hydrangeas and a variety of foliages such as eucalyptus, asparagus, blumoze and dusty miller, create a boho sensation.

A Middle Eastern Inspired Styled Shoot In Dubai By Encre d’Or
We are so pleased that you all love this styled shoot by our new vendors, Encre d’Or, just as much as we do! Justine and Jessica plan destination weddings in France, but came to Dubai’s One & Only Royal Mirage to create this opulent shoot.
With rich colours and exotic fruit, we adore this oriental themed shoot. On planning the shoot, Justine and Jessica explained:
The inspiration behind our shoot was a Middle Eastern Royal Family festivity. To achieve this, we used warm, mind-blowing and strong colours such as Red, Orange, Yellow, White, and Purple. We mixed flowers and fruits and added a touch of gold to represent the region on the tablescape. We also added a touch of European culture to represent our origins. All of these elements were connected and represented exactly what we had in mind.

A Desert Glam Styled Shoot At Al Maha Resort
This shoot first appeared on BCME in May 2015, and has proved to be a huge hit with our readers. Planned by ÉCLAT Destination Management and Totka Events, bold hues of pink and purple contrast against the rolling dunes of Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa.
With gold details and stunning headdresses, Fola Aiyedun of ÉCLAT explained the concept of this sumptuous shoot:
This styled shoot took place at the luxurious Al Maha Desert Resort. It was inspired by the elegant destination bride who loves all things glamorous yet is drawn to the understated beauty of a natural landscape, such as the UAE desert. Working with an amazingly talented team of vendors, it was, therefore, our aim to create the perfect blend of ultra-glam combined with an authentic desert feel.
