A Bohemian Romance Styled Shoot In The Athens Riviera By Eclectic Events Greece

It’s time to be dazzled by bright blue skies and sparkling water, as today we head to Greece for our latest styled shoot, submitted to us by Ageliki Karnachoriti, founder and owner of Eclectic Events Greece. The shoot, which took place just outside of Athens in November 2016, is fantastic inspiration for those of you who are planning a beach wedding, or if you are thinking about a destination wedding.

Featuring gorgeous pink blooms and some super-pretty stationery, we hope you enjoy swooning over the images and video as much as we did! Below, Ageliki takes us through the process of putting the shoot together. Enjoy!

A Note From The Wedding Planner

The grand peninsula of the Athens Riviera was the backdrop of this styled photo-shoot we arranged. The feeling of being on a Greek island that is only 40 km away from downtown Athens was magical and absolutely breathtaking.

Even though the photo shoot took place in mid-November, the sky was as blue and the sea just as inviting as during summer. As George and Angelique took their first steps as husband and wife next to the magnificent sandy beach, Eclectic Events Greece, under the theme of “Fingertips of Love”, planned and put together every detail of this bohemian chic and romantic wedding. This moment in time was captured through the eyes and camera of Dimitris Giouvris, who let the colours and the story of our couple come alive under the Greek sun.

The modern Save The Date calendar-style invitation, designed by Just Invite, features coloured heart-shaped fingertips, whilst the name cards “Me” & “You”, speak eloquently of love. The fresh, vivid and carefully chosen flowers by Harmantas Flower Creations, including Senorita-Giardina-Pompidou roses, lisianthus buds, antique hydrangeas and a variety of foliages such as eucalyptus, asparagus, blumoze and dusty miller, create a boho sensation.

In addition, the elegant wooden monastery-style dinner table that accommodates our exotic centerpieces, combined with the oak-Louis style dining chairs, by Zazoo Event Rentals, added a certain mix-and-match, modern, sophisticated but also rustic twist to our story.

Angelique, who enjoyed every moment of this special day, stunned in her airy wedding gowns made by Kathy Heyndels. The dresses incorporated ethnic elements and featured hand-embroidered semi-precious stones and crystal details and tulle/silk tails. Her hair and makeup were taken care of by Gemini Hair Artists and her shoes were handmade by KOKO Shoes.

As George walked barefoot on the sunny beach, he struck a unique figure in his outfit, which consisted of an eccentric, electric blue slim-fit jacket and white trousers, along with a 100 percent silk self-tie bow all made by Giannetos Handmade.

We were thrilled to design and implement this styled shoot concept.
