DIY “You May Now Kiss the Bride” Wedding Favors
This scrub is not only economical to make, it’s also a great way to give something useful and personal for guests to take away, as the labels reflect any information you like, even the story of your first kiss. So get rid of those sugared almonds and mini photo frames, try having this on the guest tables, for a more unique touch.
Ingredients:
- Refined brown sugar
- Almond oil and a yummy essential oil of your choice. I recommend something with vanilla or coconut scent in it.
- Organza ribbon
- Small glass jars
- Tags/labels
1) Combine sugar, oil and essential oil until the consistency looks like this.
2) Use small sized jars to neatly and tastefully house the scrub. If you are having a vintage shabby-chic wedding, then choose vintage jars. Spoon the scrub into the jar.
3) How you present your jar is really important. I’ve chosen to have the couples’ name and wedding date on there as well as details of how to use the scrub so that guests don’t try and eat it! But, as mentioned earlier, you can even write sweet anecdotes about how you met your groom on the tag also. Some light, organza ribbon also looks a treat!
