Summer Romance by Jive Events

Today’s dreamy tablescape was styled by wedding and event planners Zeina and Katia over at Jive Events. Photographed beautifully by Enchanté Studios, this romantic and summery shoot features pink hues with a touch of mint and silver, colours that the Jive girls have been obsessing over for quite some time. We  personally love the creative use of stacked pink books as center pieces. Below, Zeina and Katia tell us a little more about their inspiration behind this pretty tablescape setting, perfect for a hazy summer’s day wedding or engagement party.

A Note From The Wedding Planners

We were inspired to create a table set-up that is ideal for a romantic, elegant and fresh summer wedding. To reflect that mood, we selected mint, silver, fuchsia, pink and off-white, which turned out to be an amazing colour combo.

This tablescape is perfect for a simple yet stylish and dreamy summer bride.

When we meet the bride and groom for the first time as wedding planners, we always look forward to hearing their love story. It is so interesting to listen to the details of how they met and to see the look on their faces whilst they are telling this story. Love and romance is what makes this job fun and in this styled shoot we wanted to create a set-up that is ideal for a romantic couple wishing to get married in the summer season.

The table was decorated with seasonal flowers including peonies, hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus and alstroemerias, in addition to fuchsia and mint candles/candleholders, adding a romantic look and feel. As for the tablecloth, we combined mint silk chiffon with white tulle to add an elegant touch.

We chose the beautiful and inspirational Enchanté Studios in Business Bay to capture the images. Their white blank canvas area can be easily transformed, and the white walls and drapes surely helped in adding the romantic element that we were looking for.
