Get to Know the Bridal Beauty Pro
Each week, we shine the spotlight on Bride Club ME vendor club members, allowing you, our reader, to get up close and personal with some of the best wedding and bridal beauty vendors in town. Here, you can learn more about the people behind some of the businesses you may be using to make your wedding day perfect!
This week we have the privilege of showcasing Dr. Malda Al Daoudi, Aesthetic Dermatologist at Eternel Clinic. Below, Dr. Malda provides us with an exclusive insight into the clinic, tells us all about why she works in this industry, and shares with us what she loves the most about her job.
How long has eternal Clinic been established and what makes the clinic different when it comes to the many beauty treatment options that Dubai has to offer?
Eternel Clinic is one of the first aesthetic clinics to open in Dubai and has over 10 years of experience in the market. This vast experience allows us to understand patients’ needs in a way that newer competitors do not yet, as we have lovingly taken care of thousands of people over the years. We also follow an individual led approach with each person who comes into our clinic and guide them towards defining their idea of beauty rather than imposing on them a set standard of beauty.
What made you decide to work in the beauty/aesthetics industry?
I have always wanted to work as an Aesthetic Dermatologist because I strongly believe that when people feel beautiful this positively impacts their health and wellbeing. Helping people maximise the potential of their beauty is my main objective, and I enjoy doing this every day with my patients.
What do you love most about your work?
Interacting with people is what I love most about my job! Seeing people’s reactions when they look at their faces in the mirror after we finish our treatment sessions is simply a joy. Listening to their happy stories and how these little changes to their faces affected their daily life and self-esteem is tremendously rewarding for me.
You specialise in both clinical and aesthetic dermatology. How might a bride-to-be utilise these services in preparation for her big day?
Preparation for the big day begins from within. Our skin reflects our health, which is why it is mandatory to have a healthy lifestyle to achieve glowing skin. Weight control, a healthy diet, regular exercise and hydration are the first steps to attaining that desired radiance.
As their wedding day approaches, we help brides create bespoke treatment plans in order to achieve their desired outcomes. A few months prior to the wedding, carrying out regular facials that are suitable for your skin type will definitely improve the quality of your skin. Our doctors and therapists at Eternel Clinic can guide you as to what facials would be ideal for your skin goals.
The HydraFacial is one of our most advanced facials that brides love to include as part of their preparation. After the aesthetician has carried out deep cleansing, the HydraFacial uses patented and unique technology that hydrates the skin from within the cells. This results in deep rooted improvements rather than superficial hydration.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is also an extremely popular treatment for brides, as it helps achieve a healthy looking and radiant complexion prior to your nuptials. The treatment starts by extracting the patient’s blood and then separating the plasma from the other components of the blood. After that, the plasma will be re-introduced to the skin to help stimulate tissue growth which plumps up the skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and provides an overall glow. While this is often done by needling, at Eternel Clinic we offer an alternative application with a derma roller to reduce the possibility of bruising and offer a less invasive option, which is exactly what every bride needs for her big day.
Describe the experience a bride to-be will have when having treatments at Eternel Clinic when preparing for her wedding…
Bridal consultation and preparation starts around 3-6 months before the wedding. A comprehensive and totally bespoke treatment plan will be discussed in detail and sessions will be booked in advance to ensure the bride stays on track with her beauty goals. A daily skin routine will also be customised depending on the individual’s circumstances. Each person’s experience will be tailor-made for her, and we will always strive to ensure that her individually defined goals are achieved.
How do you manage trust from your clients? After all it is the most important day of their lives.
I always give my honest opinion during the consultation. I avoid any unnecessary treatments and any treatment that might lead to side effects so as to avoid any unpleasant situations before this important day. I put all of my experience and the science and education I have acquired at the service of my patient’s best interest. At the end of the day, the satisfaction of my patients is my ultimate goal, especially when they are entrusting me with their skin for their big day.
If you could give one piece of dermatological advice to our readers (brides to-be) what would it be?
The key to healthy looking and radiant skin is to maintain a good, daily skin care program. Your daily skin care routine should consist of a cleanser, a good hydrating cream, a sun block and special night care creams depending on individual skin conditions and problems. It is always better to take the opinion of your dermatologist to find the best skin care products that are suitable for you.
What budgets do you cater for?
As we use high caliber technology and products in all our treatments, our services are priced for mid to high range budgets.
Lastly, why did you choose to work with BrideClubME.com?
